K2 DPF Cleaner

This video shows you how to apply this product which works very well loosening the carbon and can aid DPF regeneration. I certainly noticed a huge difference, but the problem potentially lies elsewhere.
Steps:
1. Remove Pressure/ Temperature Sensor
2. Spray into DPF filter entire can.
3. Return sensor after cleaning if necessary
4. Run the car on idle for 10 minutes.
Then, take the car for a drive. For Regeneration:
1. Drive in 3rd Gear
2. Drive beyond 2500 RPM
3. Have at least 20 litres of fuel in car
4. Drive for 30 minutes
Ensure there are no service messages on the car as regeneration may not work.

I tried wont work bro i was drving after 30 mim 3rd gear still warrning on display and no power when I press gass pedal STILL the same? Help me out

Did you drive on the motorway? You don't need to be driving with high rpm. All that does is add more soot to the dpf

You need to reset the DPF sensors to make the car think that you installed a new one after that the car will exit limp mode and give you full power again

Hello, are these sprays suitable for engines with DPF placed after the turbo, in the front of the engine? Isn't there a possibility for some of the spray to get in the turbo and from there in the engine?

You need to use when engine COLD.

The car is saab with 1.9 jtd biturbo(fiat). This product is for maintenance, not for clogged filter. But save a lot of money.

It isn't 1.9 jtd (z19dth) but it's the 2.0 cdti (a20dth)

Where you take the sensor out looks to me like it’s past the honeycomb dpf bit so all you’re doing there is squirting cleaner into a free flowing exhaust??? Could anyone confirm? My understanding is wouldn’t it be best putting cleaner through the dpf pressure sensor (higher up the dpf) this is where the differential pressure gives it’s feedback via vacuum to the sensor located next to the map on top of the engine? Does anyone agree???

I did this before the sensor at top is oxygen sensor the one at bottom is temp sensor and the pipe just behind runs around right side of engine is pressure sensor the honey comb is just under the oxygen sensor I confirmed this because not only can you feel it you can see it if you shine a light through the bottom one just goes through to exhaust which is pointless

Pressure sensor isn’t on the dpf it’s on the top left of the engine bay

She u went on the long drive after putting it in the dpf,did you're light and msg to of and did it work as you thought it would?

No it didn't but it helped, I had to get a forced Regen in the end

Hi mate, did this to my car lasted 2 days .dpf light back on . then limp mode . this stuff is crap. had dpf removed it was full blocked wit soot still , had it cleaned put back on every thing back to normal . hope you sorted your problem . cheers

Hi John, it's not a permanent fix but more so maintenance. I do a lot of short trips which doesn't help it. My sensor was nackered, got it sorted in the end. Cheers

It means you need to check your temperature sensor and other issues. Or have DPF removed and cleaned properly

Every 4-5 months if I am doing a lot of short journeys, like school runs etc

every 3-4 months but it depends how far you drive. short trips kill the DPF

Engine needs to be cold and the sensor on top of manifold is a lambda oxygen sensor not a pressure sensor

Far easier way without getting your hands dirty...... Archoil AR6400D (diesel) or AR6400P (Petrol) I swear by it, 178k on my 2011 95ttid and 217k on my Transit no issues at all.

It's a problem you easily can avoid by driving for 30 minutes once a week with some high rpm's

It doesn't work on catalytic converter only for diesel trucks or a diesel car it claims that it works people would say that it works but if you can't replace the elements inside either the cat or the other item that's next to the cat it won't work waste of time and waste of money the product is made in Germany but if you don't mind spending a couple bucks more than seafoam and that's your own risk good luck

If your cat is blocked its because the iners have broken up not because of carbon build up cats need to be replaced if they block up
