Vertical spinners seem to be taking over the sport. They seem to work well against everything at this point.

Vertical spinners with feeder wedges (drums in particular) tend to wreck wedges. They deform the leading edge of wedges so that they are no longer effective. If you look at the winners of Robogames in the last few years you will notice that more of them are vertical spinners than wedges. (the exception being original sin). I think that we will see them start taking over heavyweight category in the next 5-10 years.

Cary Weaver did you arent deforming hardox or armox (also blocks exist butwhatever) unless the supports and just about everyrhing is hollow, and you welded it on *looks at blacksmith* the supports are gonna give, and if verticles are deforming wedges explain mr 100kj of force doing jack shit

My vertical spinners throw opponents into the air, so most of them follow a theme in line with that (Altitude, Stratosphere, Apex, etc). K2 is the 2nd highest mountain in the world and one of the deadliest for climbers.

He has been intending to rebuild k2 for a while now.. but rebuilding costs money and a lot of it. Custom parts aren't cheap.

I understand stand that and K2 is a beast...but a robot that can't self right is kinda doomed in the first place. Travel and entry cost can't be cheap, that's why its kinda odd it can't self right. I'm in no way bashing him or the robot. I love his bots and videos...i just wanna see K2 as a champ.
