Next time just thread the coolent holes in the head, Then block the left hole off with a bolt (or use it as a turbo water feed) and the right hole run a AN line down to the thermostat

It looks like the far right circle hole on the block is blocked off? That’s okay to block? I just bought a used IM for my k24a and it’s my first swap but it only has a hole cut out for the smaller hole on the block and the outer hole will be covered by the manifold. That’s fine to block and how it’s supposed to go? Trying to look it up but I’m not finding anything for it

@YoungStatic3 жыл бұрын
you can try to bypass ignition and power up it up with a battery to seen mileage. otherwise run the vin for last recorded mileage to what ever service it had. rotate crank make sure it spins. pop oil pan to see if any metal shaving are present. pop intake manifold and exhaust manifold to see if there are any bent valves. check oil condition.

Did the last motor have a type s oil pump or stock oil pump? If it has a stock oil pump no wonder it rod knocked and if u don't type s pump this "new" motor the same thing will happen u should already know to never Rev out or even run a k24 wit a stock oil pump period
