Quick tip for anyone else who wants to do battery relocation(i did this on my s13): go to the junkyard and find any large bmw and take the oem battery cable they always have routed to the rear(they always run along the driver side under the carpet) they’re the perfect length and bmw quality 👍

you need to connect the hose outlet u plugged with that sensor on the thermostat housing to the top of the head next to the intake manifold for a "recirculation" hose for when the thermostat is closed it recirculates the coolant. if you don't run that hose your gonna have big big problems lol hope that helped

also the thermostat doesn't bolt to the water pump housing like that, there is a black plastic piece that goes there with outlets on it for recirculation hose and heater lines. look into it brotha, love the cars, progress and content 💪🏼💪🏼 if u need further help hit me on IG @cretella1221 ill try n help better

Another good little battery relocation cable is actually the OEM BMW or VWbattery cables if you can find a one in a junk yard. Very cheap and it’s actual battery cable. Most bmws and modern vws have the battery in the trunk and very obtainable.

Hot water goes in the top of the radiator, cooler water goes out the bottom. So it’s more efficient if you plumb the heater core the same.

If anyone wants to relocate their battery to the trunk use a thick gauge audio cable such as 6 gauge wire. The thicker the better. The reason I say that is you want a low resistance cable which will give a good connection to your battery. Hope this helps. Also if you find your car has a draw but don't know how to fix it, would recommend a dead man switch. A dead man switch will kill all power to the car and also prevents theft of your car. Most circle track cars and drag racing cars have them so it saves battery power in between races.

Hoses look good, I'd ditch those worm clamps for OE style spring clamps, they look so much better and you want constant tension clamps for the cooling system to prevent seeping, especially with silicone

if you are worried about that bottom radiator hose moving around and rubbing you could get your buddy johnny to fab up and weld a stainless bracket to that stainless piece you coupled them together with and rivnut it to the frame rail. just a idea.
