If you want a better heater setup for the rear passenger area, consider using the rear heater from a late 1980’s suburban. It’s basically a rear floor mounted heater core in a box with a fan pushing air through it. Coolant is supplied via heater hoses from the engine to the rear of the truck. It should be pretty versatile to install anywhere in the rear.

Absolutely love your rig! Yours is alot nicer than my M1009 but you should check it out, you might like it. I would love to do an episode on your rig though, its a pretty sweet build!

Thank you! Its been a great truck! I have 2.5 front lift springs with 56" read springs and a 2.5" shackle flip in the back on 35s. I have more videos with all the info for all your questions in detail!

Hey adventure, Ive got a m1009 and I was building out an overland trailer. Mine still has the 3.08 gears and I was wondering how your truck does off road with that extra weight you have added, and 3.08 gears?

I swapped to 3/4 ton semi floater 14 bolt rear and kept corporate 10 bolt front axle. I upped it to 4.10 gears. I was pretty stock when I had 3.08 gears.

when i say stock, I didnt have as much weight. on 33s it did very well off road.

I have a cucv.. and I have va question..how did you do the glow plug relay .and starter relay .
