Difficult Doggie Paw & Nail trim, a relaxed boy until I had to trim paws and nails! Bichon/Pekinese

Although Stanley was a pretty relaxed guy during the grooming process using the clippers, this was not the case when I got to trimming his feet and cutting his nails. This is where he implemented his evasive maneuvers!

Each video is unedited footage of a day to day home based dog grooming business.
Being a dog groomer for 16+ years, I have seen a lot of dogs and learned a variety of techniques of how to groom any dog WITHOUT restraints!
These videos are for people interested in grooming their own dogs from home, wanting to learn how to start their own dog grooming business, owners who are looking for solutions on various health issues with their dog and of course most importantly for my dog owners to see how their dog does while being groomed.
In addition to grooming techniques, I will be posting videos of health concerns or warning signs of possible health concerns to watch out for with any solutions I have learnt over the years.
I also plan to share unique characteristics that I come across while grooming as some are pretty unique and very interesting!

Stanley is a handsome little guy and did quite well overall. Cooper does not like his front legs done either and his nails, mainly the quick, have grown longer and thicker with time although I do them every other week, go figure??? I think in general dogs don't like the clipper on their legs maybe because of the vibration of the clipper on their bones??? Just saying! So, thank you Lisa for another great groom! 🐕🐾

Yes, I agree. He was doing so well until I got to those legs! As you are aware, those front legs can be a bit more sensitive, and some dogs are more sensitive than others to those clippers! Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. 🐶

It basically starts at 23:50 although it doesn't look very difficult at first he is pulling and shaking his paws throughout which makes it hard on the hands!

@karin2825 Yes, I do cut the nails after I trim the hair on each paw 🐾
