Swiggy, Zomato is worth when you order for 1 person with weekdays. I regularly order tandoori briyani in my fav restaurant in Zomato is 120 rs including all delivery charges and GST with offers. But hotel price is 180 rs. And hotel is also 3 km away from me. Even plate shawarma also hotel price 160 I got around in swiggy 110 rs.

Food cost 260 Delivery cost. 34 (completely paid to Delivery staff for this petrol, vehicle maintenance and his salary) GST. 13.54 (have to pay for Govt) Platform fee. 3 Total 310.54 Zomato charged only Rs. 3 in this order from customer. That too for their service tht They are getting commission from hotel within that 260 Rs. That's no matter for customer. I don't find any dispute in the above order. If u speak about discount it happens every where... From customer end we are paying 34 for Delivery staff for our comfort and tax to govt. Hotel to ur place may be 400m but he has to travel from somewhere else may be 1km to reach hotel. We cannot expect some to give free service for us sitting in home. Also the bill you received from hotel is not a gst bill so If hotel is not under gst then zomato has to pay that gst to govt. As a result if we want to save our money and health we have to make it on our own. Or Else atleast take a walk to the hotel have the meal and get back so that we need not think about all these shits...

I have seen this in swiggy also. I have swiggy one membership. But I saw major difference in bill for murugan idly shop, chai kings, kfc, vishranthi. Gst is less when you pay directly but they charge you indirectly adding more money as restaurant charge but we think it's gst. They already increase amt in apps and they charge delivery fee, plateform fee, restaurant charge and gst on plateform fee.
