Swiggy, Zomato is worth when you order for 1 person with weekdays. I regularly order tandoori briyani in my fav restaurant in Zomato is 120 rs including all delivery charges and GST with offers. But hotel price is 180 rs. And hotel is also 3 km away from me. Even plate shawarma also hotel price 160 I got around in swiggy 110 rs.

I have seen this in swiggy also. I have swiggy one membership. But I saw major difference in bill for murugan idly shop, chai kings, kfc, vishranthi. Gst is less when you pay directly but they charge you indirectly adding more money as restaurant charge but we think it's gst. They already increase amt in apps and they charge delivery fee, plateform fee, restaurant charge and gst on plateform fee.

I would like to a add a point on Feeding India Donation. The Donation they take is to pay India and show like they have donated and by means of this they reduce their taxes they have to pay. The Company has to pay from their profit but what they do is the donations are collected from the customers . All the features are like jio.. that is while jio sim was introduced many feared to give thier aadhar as proof to buy sim even though they gave free mobile internet.. but after sometime everyone around us had jio sim we started feeling us as fools for not utilizing free data.. once we lived with 2gb per month.. but now 2gb is not enough for a data.. so we get used to these once we cant live witout it.. same applies to swiggy and zomato.. although its over priced and qty is lesser for swiggy zomato than having it in hotel

Companies use coupon for several reason.. 1. Not all users are aware of coupons. So they might get more from a user if they do know how to use coupons. For eg. "One day my father ordered food from swiggy. He called me right away after ordering and said why rate is so high. I aked about applying coupon he had no clue about it." So these kind of users are targeted by them. 2. Giving a sudo satisfaction of getting something cheaper than its value for customer. One good thing about coupons it will make you choose a new restaurant instead of usual ones. So for some restaurants it's very beneficial.

Delivery fee full won't go to partner. For a 400m drop partner get 15 to 20 rs.depends on peak time. Rest 10 to 20rs which customer pays also go to zomato..
