Ghatam Karthick's Mimicry at Music Academy on 1st Jan 2010. The mimicry fusion between Dr.Balamurali Krishna and T.N.Seshagopalan is amazing.
கடந்த பல வருடங்களாக "கர்னாடிகா.காம்" (Carnatica.com) என்ற அமைப்பு ஆங்கில வருட புத்தாண்டு துவங்கும் வேளையில் சென்னை மியூசிக் அகாடெமியில் கர்னாடக இசையின் அடிப்படையில் அமைந்த பல புதுமையான நிகழ்ச்சிகள் நடத்துவதுவும் வழக்கம். நானும் குடும்பத்துடன் இந்த நிகழ்ச்சிக்குத் தவறாமல் செல்வது வழக்கம். 2010 வருடத் துவக்கத்தில் நடைபெற்ற நிகழ்ச்சியில் குறிப்பிட்டுச் சொல்லும்படி அமைந்தது Dr.கடம் கார்த்திக்கின் மிமிக்ரி நிகழ்ச்சியாகும். அவர் பெரிதும் மதிக்கும் Dr.பாலமுரளி் கிருஷ்ணா அவர்களும் சேஷகோபாலன் அவர்களும் சேர்ந்து ஒரு ஜுகல்பந்தி நிகழ்ச்சி கொடுத்தால் எப்படியிருக்கும் என்று கற்பனை செய்து இந்த மிமிக்ரி நிகழ்ச்சியினை வழங்கியுள்ளார். கர்னாடக இசை ரசிகர்களின் காதுகளுக்கு இது ஒரு நல்ல விருந்து.

Irrespective whether this is a mimicry or not, the sahithyam,the tune and the rendition of this very sweet Ragam is simply marvellous! It is a revelation that Dr. Karthick can sing so well. Great and very enjoyable.
