YES! I’ve just bought one, but the other variant with the dog’s head rather than the USMC marking. It’s a drop-dead beautiful knife - just wish you’d have given more of a commentary. I’m curious about the difference in the quillons, over the standard make.

The stapled sheath is meant to replicate the way the sheaths were made back in the early 1940’s. I have one of these knives and the sheath is actually pretty decent.

Staples on that sheath instead of more robust rivets? for a $225 which is $100 more than a regular USMC KaBar I'd be wondering why such a cheap staple gun was used? Just saying.

Because that’s what the originals had! This is a REPRODUCTION of the original USMC fighters. The rivets on the sheath are post WW2.
