Was looking for the paracord wrap mod, and i noticed you did the same mod as me with the sheath. In a failed attempt to paint it my skin color, I ended up sanding it to a satin finish, it looks really nice. I now wear it under my shirt so it's no big deal.

Some very subtle and clever mods. Good job tailoring your gear so that it will work flawlessly with your skill-set. If I may, I'd like to offer one small piece of advice: While there isn't anything protruding but the edge of the blade when you use your TDI like a karambit (ring finger in the loop), you're still taking a bit of a risk. Most likely, if you should ever have to deploy your blade (and I hope that never happens), you'll probably be defending against some street thug with no skill or knowledge about close-quarter-combat. That said, there is ALWAYS a chance that you'll be defending against someone who knows a thing or two about knife/hand-to-hand combat. Sliding your ring finger into that hole gives him a prime time opening to dominate you with very little strength. An example: If I was threatening your life or whatever and we start a serious, life & death fight, as soon as you pull that knife i'm going to trap your arm with a very basic two-point arm lock, grab your blade, and break your finger while continuously twisting that ring one way, and then the other way, etc. The strongest, toughest man in the world wouldn't be able to do anything but scream. Finger locks are devastating. You might think that you'll just pull the blade across my hand when I grab it, but you won't be able to. The arm bar will incapacitate your arm from the elbow down and the SECOND pinch grip your blade, twist your ring finger, or break your wrist, the pain will overwhelm you to such a degree that compliance is the only option. Just a few thoughts, knife guy to knife guy. Of course you should always do what you feel most comfortable doing, so please take my observations lightly as I'm not saying you're doing anything wrong whatsoever. Stay safe and take care, mate. Cheers.

the scenario that runs through my mind if ever i'm going to deploy this knife (sure hope it never happens in my lifetime) is if i'm in a struggle and the guy is probably choking me to death so i'll just grab from my shoes without him knowing it, or even if not on a struggle situation but for sure i'll deploy it without him seeing/knowing it ... but thanks for your advice Zachary that is noted, you sure know what you are doing ... thanks also for stopping by, stay safe! greetings from the Philippines! - MN

Did you conduct your modifications with a Dremel or buy some other sanding/grinding means? I would preferred to do the same mod without having to risk over grinding or exposing metallic underlay
