To any non hindi speakers, i don't speak it, nor am i Indian but I understand bits. He is saying this is only for those who will learn properly how to shoot, and also if you do shoot by a guard. Also don't start off with dart type projectiles, start with clay rounds or any balls. Always wear the steal guard, only people that don't need to are experts, so people who have been shooting for a long time and have been educated on how to shoot, with correct form and have understanding of flight path of the projectile. Always shoot with proper form!!! Not for the people who don't learn first how to shoot, only for those who want to learn safely. If you don't watch videos on how to shoot and don't practise with the advice found in such videos, you will regret it. Either because of richoets to face, or body, or shooting hand directly. My advice as someone who is just getting into the hobby is the following: 1. Buy a hand guard 2. Buy any typical safety glasses, they are suprisingly effective at protecting your eye. Or faceguard, but faceguards may hinder shooting when drawing strings to face. 3. Buy a cheap but not too cheap slingshot, cheap ones are still great!!! Also buy pellets, preferably steel or clay. clay may be more forgiving. 4. Make yourself a catch box for practising, don't be a dickhead and shoot at random things, or have a projectile go off and severely wound someone. Catch boxes can be made from a cardboard box, with a string piercing each top side of the box going through the inside of the box and tieing it around the top of the box. Then fold a t shirt or any old clothes that hangs freely inside on the string. hang a can or anything you want to hit on the string too. Watch a video of how to make it, it will be simpler. 5. Watch videos on how to shoot, take the advice and practice. Make sure your catch box is big enough, the box will also catch any steel balls you shoot, so they are retrievable. Your good to go with your new hobby, also you can kill birds of prey to eat, only thing i would recommend are using something more sharp to kill them, so no blunt force trauma, or use small enough pellets. Also if not dead, go and slit their jugular vein once you go and find the prey, this is the most humane way to kill it for food. Otherwise never kill animals, if not used for food.
