Damn! Time flew by so fast, and it has already been 16 years since this video was uploaded! I was watching this while I was in college, back when I used to dance with my group 😅😅😅 good times! Kaba’s style was the sh’t back then! Their tutting and isolations were their signature and every group wanted to copy their brand of dance back then 🎉🎉🎉

Kaba Modern has the sickest isolations, popping, locking, waving, tutting I've seen so far! It's not simple at all. But All Stars do deserve their gold. Kaba deserves their silver, which is still saying a lot.

I love their work on the isolations - those are PERFECT to a t - but I really love how America's Best Dance Crew is really making them branch out and throw their isolations and styles to a new level - combining them with things that aren't necessarily their strongest points, but makes the choreography exciting. The Rockettes are awesome because they combine exacting precision work with ups, downs, leaps, kicks, and turns. Fascinating choreo from Kaba Modern, though.

These guys are too good. Aside from all the obviously stunning moves, intricate choreography and top-notch attention to detail, they have a great stage awareness and know how to use it to their advantage. Like at 1:18, the way the background members bob up and down, counterpoint to the three in the front to add emphasis; similarly at 1:58, the way all the other members "stare" at the two in the middle. KM has always been masters at subtlety. The formation transition at 1:30 damn smooth, too.
