Reflections is the first composition shared in video, part of ACT III of the new album "Freedom Expressions", an ACT where the goal was to create, improvise and share a musical story with guest musicians that showed up in the studio during the recordings of the new album. They were invited by my friend Thomas Ben Tov, funny fact is I didn't know them at all and something needed to come out from this meeting 😅 (it was a lot of pressure, taking into consideration that I was already 8 days non stop on the studio recording my solo part of the album). I met this amazing pianist Asaf Karaso for the first time that morning and we spend barely 4 hours together. This is what came out from our reflections in that studio. I'm so happy we did it

The part at 1:20 is such a great hook, Kabecao; the melody and rhythm felt stealthy yet delicate, like a story about tiptoeing to a lover's home in ancient times. Also, it's really putting yourself out there to jam with basically strangers, but worth the risk in the end.

Thank you to Kabecão for reaching those edges in our minds that is our inherent desire to understand the great mysteries of life. His music always inspires me to ask questions like. Is Death an illusion? What happens after death? Is music a language that transcends time and space and life itself? Why do we have such a strong spiritual connection with music? Its amazing to think that maybe there is a place where all of this exists, endless playground of music and ecstacy, where we play the sacred drums that vibrate the universal energy of love and truth. I love you Kabecão and my mind and heart is always meditating on your expression and message. You are a guide and guardian of light bless your heart!

Hello, I see you use AsaChan handpands in other videos, is that who makes the one you're playing in this video? Is it their harmonic minor 53cm model? Also, is there any effect on the overall sound like how long notes sustain with so many notes on the drums surface compared to a handpan with fewer notes? Any big timbre differences or anything else you can note other than one has more notes than the other? I appreciate and information you have to share. This was a wonderful performance by the way, I'm glad I found your channel!
