Emaad's character was pampered and openly preferred by his family over his brother, since childhood. He began to believe his brother was not even worthy of being compared to him. He feels superior and completely dislikes his brother. Emaad's character cannot stand anything good ever happening to his brother. Even though he rejected a woman because he felt he deserved better, he does not want his ex-fiancee to be with his brother. Why? Her marrying his brother reminds him that he did a horrible thing and showed his greedy nature by dumping her a few days before the marriage. Also, it puts his brother in a better light and opens the door for the two brothers to be compared.

KMKT: I don’t think Adeel wants to stay at his parents for his father, the excuse is actually for Sharjeena. If he had cared about his parents he wouldn’t have betrayed them to marry Rubab. Adeel is an egoist man. He married Rubab for money, betrayed Sharjeena, but cannot digest his ex fiancée being married to his brother. He is not sincere with anyone, parents, siblings or his wife. He just wants the best for himself and Sharjeena is beautiful.

One thing I have noticed since you guys started praising/reviewing KMKT is not acknowledging Maya khan’s performance. I get she’s a supporting role but she stands out a lot with her natural most convincing role as the daughter of the house. Her very daughter like kisses and care for her father, realistic role where she says her opinion but also can’t do too much. Her overall acting is extremely good. I think it’s worth mentioning how amazing she has acted that small role.

One thing made evident in Tamasha is this - for a certain socio-economic class of people, life in Pakistan is FULL of ease. Most of these contestants wouldn’t make it in western countries where there aren’t “theen-chaar kaam karne walay” at their beck and call. They don’t know how to clean, how to vacuum, how to wash dishes, how to dust properly, how to clean after themselves in a bathroom-simple life skills. Everyone has a skin allergy or back issues, but only when required to do manual labor. I’m waiting for someone to bring in “mental health” as an excuse to get their way (….not discounting those who have legitimate mental health issues) Besides a couple of contestants, the rest are such spoiled brats. As the show progresses through the years, the producers will need to take a lot of things into consideration as generational & societal differences increase. Longer list of rules & regulations; more medical services provided, what’s appropriate/inappropriate…..😪

I agree with Hassan the mom could have shown some concern about Adeel being out of touch for so long. 2nd why do they always show that our nation is so illiterate that they can't recognize signs of heart attack and call an ambulance. Any type of chest pain at any age should be taken seriously instead of waiting half a day to be taken to the hospital
