As I’ve said before, the shorts are so inventive. I am so glad that they are on this site, and on physical media if you care to buy it. They’re all over. No one will ever forget Gumby!!

So he was searching for a sound that was.. spherical? And the only thing that fit the bill was the chaotic noise of toys slamming into each other? Okaaaay.
@WillCWilson2 жыл бұрын
The most unexpected of noises was the one that changed them back to normal. A brilliant way to end the story imo.

10:06 - You can hear a random person's voice. Sounds like they said "three".

I think it was a sound recording fault.

Yes, "Three". What an odd, unusual and very different show - Gumby has always been AWESOME!
@ZakWolf2 жыл бұрын
Of course, the stock music track beginning at 6:14 would show up in numerous early "Huckleberry Hound" and "Yogi Bear" cartoons, but this was the only "Gumby" episode to use it, as Clokey Productions was far more versatile with the Capitol Hi-Q music library than Hanna-Barbera was with their repetitive stock music choices.

(0:25) When did Gumby get a Class-F license? Nice Marx train action at 7:37-8:46! I've always loved how these Gumby shorts often used real model trains.
