I don't think I could sit across from you and your crazy eyes and still have the courage to talk. Give me about 10 more years of gains and then we'll see

Actually breathing for kettlebell sport is different then from powerlifting, weightlifting etc.. In weightlifting the use of pressurization and diaphragmatic breath patterning might include holding the breath through a phase of movement and release it at a resting point, or exhaling through the exertion. Under weight, the inhale often comes as a quick gasp with this pattern. The counter-balancing pattern is anatomical breathing, more often seen in cyclic activities such as rowing, cross country skiing, kettlebell sport or stretching, that pairs compression of the body with the exhale and extension with the inhale. This is an aerobic, continuous breathing pattern. The breath is not stopped, only sped-up or slowed-down

Nils Martin Lundgren yes we talked about that a lot. perhaps not on this video but it was brought up and discussed when we trained..

SwingThis Kettlebell and Functional Strength it was just that you guys compared the breathing patterns (04:50) and said it was the same for any loaded movement, and yoga etc.. Maybe its not what you meant to say, and I misunderstood it! Anyways, cool that you are promoting the sport :D!

i think we meant to say that abdominal bracing was the same for most movement whether an inhalation or exhalation. i was showing chris cyclical breathing at different tension points during kettlebell snatches and ShouldeROK / mace swings. and thank you. we have two competitors now on team USA competing in dublin this novemeber
