Edit: This is an alternative Naruto universe that takes place in the world of Jianghu! The story continues from the previous chapter kzbin.info/www/bejne/maKuY4etZbqfZ7s , beginning with a letter from home. The Chief of the Dali Temple, Yakushi Kabuto, receives a letter from his adoptive father, the old temple chief, revealing that the Red Moon Orb has reappeared in the world. As his adoptive father approaches the end of his life, if the "promise" between them is forgotten-if the word "forget" leads to a heart turned cold-how should Kabuto navigate his own existence? Ultimately, he decides to mix public duty with personal motives, leading a group to attack the Byakugou Inn for the sake of the Red Moon Orb. The group manages to escape from the inn, while Tsunade bears the humiliation and chooses to stay behind. She feigns capture and ventures deep into the snake cave of the Dali Temple. After uncovering the truth behind the events surrounding the Red Moon Orb from years ago, she escapes the cave and reunites with the arriving Mei Terumi and Ay. However, under the moonlight, a figure blocking their path is none other than Kabuto. An intense battle is about to erupt…

They've always had them. Naruto is what it should be. The very first page of the first chapter talks about a monster who can create tsunamis and change the landscape. Part 1 has a kaiju battle. It was never about ninjas in the traditional sense. Besides which, even the war arc mixed small and large scale battles.
