One thing to note on tiers and levels: Levels are hard to tie down in the tiers. The real reason Dragonite is lower level is because it's in the Slow level up group and Kabutops is in the Medium Fast level up group. Just passively that's why Kabutops just ended up ahead of Dragonite in levels.

@nicolasojedamora2 ай бұрын
What about ancient power?
@drewbabe2 ай бұрын
I never thought of it that way, but you raise a good point! You could argue that the rock represents their hard shells, but other pokes with hard shells like Cloyster and Blastoise aren't part rock, so I think your explanation makes more sense.
@jules24382 ай бұрын
Im talking specifically gen 1, they gained multiple rock moves since
@handanyldzhan92322 ай бұрын
As the games come and go, the original lore/concept the pokemon was created with tends to take a backseat to the gameplay mechanics. Fossils: Originally just normal living beings whose DNA survived in a rock. Volcarona: Couldn't learn Attract until Gen 8, likely because having the alleged legendary-esque ability to replace the sun makes it seem like it's above seduction or resorting to it. Eeveelutions: Calm Mind is a psychic move, but now it can be learned even by the main elemental Eeveelutions who have nothing to do with it. That even happened with individual moves. The flavor of some moves suits some pokemon better, but only one version can survive, because the same or a very similar move with a different flavor is considered redundant when another already exists.
@TheMixerification2 ай бұрын
I agree, entirely, only rock type because of fossil stuff, therefore not getting rock type moves. At first I thought these guys were the the exception to arbitrary typing in RBG, but I was looking stuff up to support it in this comment and kinda found the opposite. This is true of most poison and bug types, but I'll exclude them because there were barely any moves for those types anyway. EG: charizard only got access to a flying type move in Yellow (Fly) and arguably only because of the anime. So Charizard was a flying type, with no flying moves. Rhyhorn could never learn any rock type moves in Gen 1, and rhydon only ever was able to use the TM rock slide as it's only rock move. Although I think the logic is correct, as only "aesthetic" rock types, I don't feel as if we can conclude that to be the intention, only because they did most pokemon dirty like this. If you were a rock, poison, bug, (flying kinda) bad luck. Then honorable mentions to ghost and dragon who were individual in their typings, but didn't have any meaningful stab in the first place

Month of JRose 2024 should give us 30 between November and December this year. He'll be done with the last 24 at a pace of 4 per month by June next year at the latest. But if he does 8 per month consistently that's 2 per week then it's 7 months for 56. 8 in November 4 more in October (12) 20 in December (32) 8 in January (40) 8 in February (48) 8 in March (56) He needs to release noticeably more than 1x per week in October to have a ghost of a chance of a pace to beat a Dec. 31 deadline. 15 in November and 30 in December though is 45 and he could actually be done in January. Jan, March, June, which do I think is more likely? 4 1 in October 4 in November 20 in December 10 in January 10 in February 10 in March A lot of different splits seem to concentrate on March so I think February to April is probably it and I'd be surprised if he doesn't switch to Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh some in between. 10 non Kanto videos how fast can he put out 64 videos? 10 per month average, 6.5 months 26 weeks exactly half a year April. It's actually going to be April. It won't be May it won't be June. December could actually have 31 videos which would make room in the other months to slow down.
