My mom and I always had a strained relationship growing up. Even now, we bicker back and forth at each other about really stupid things. But today, my mom found out about an illness I'm currently suffering through and she was texting me all day to check on me. She even said if I needed her, she would drive the hour and a half from her home to my apartment at whatever time I asked her to. I'm definitely going to be playing 'Mother' on repeat before bed tonight and feel thankful that even though we can be difficult to each other, we still have each other and have love for each other.

I first ever heard of Kacey Musgraves when she guest judges on RPDR.. I listened to this album and fell in LOVE. she re-introduced me to country music, which I had given up on.. She taught me how to come to terms with certain private things I rather not share but I know she WILL CHANGE THE WORLD. All i think about is all the LGBT youth in southern / conservative states who are surviving because of her content!!!! I LOVE KACEY MUSGRAVES

I'm not really one for country music, but Kacey's melodies and her beautiful lyrics make this album one of my favorites of all time. I can listen to every single song over and over and love every single one. Each song represents raw emotion in such a genuine and gentle way. And she is SO talented. Her live singing is just as good if not better than the studio version. Oh, What A World is my favorite though ❤❤

She is a magnificent lyricist, great producer, and overall amazing artist. I have loved her for SO long. She transcends in modern country due to how far other artists have gone down the drain. She remains dedicated to her craft, and doesn’t sell out. That is why she is getting Grammys and they aren’t.
