@@geetraldinha kaceys sadly been basically blacklisted from country radio ever since she released "follow your arrow" years ago, the song didn't sit well with the genres mostly conservative audience. it was never official, but yeah, no station ever really gave her a chance after that. after years of no support from country radio, she still stayed true to her morals, herself, and her artistic integrity, and continued standing up for LGBTQ+ rights in a genre that basically crucified her for it. such a shame they never really supported her because shes an absolute angel and so so talented! golden hour completely changed my life last year and im so happy she won aoty!

Such a beautiful song and soul. This is my favorite song off of the album. The first time listening through the song, I bawled. I was driving back from Palm Springs and drove past a sign that said "Welcome to Rainbow", which I had no idea was a real place. I played it after three more times after that. You are my favorite artist and I hope you win a Grammy with this album.

I was hospitalized for a week in 2019, my mom (who I’d been estranged from for a few years, and continued to be as the years passed) drove six hours to visit and stay with me, I remember so vividly the day I was released and she was beside me in my car and I heard this song for the first time and she said “I think of you anytime I hear it.” My mom (and dad) died suddenly in 2021, mom, anytime I hear this song, I think of you. 😢

I feel that too 😔🙏 my mom passed after several years of battling various health and life issues. She got through all but the last affliction. I pray she is happy, healthy, and peaceful now.

I played this to myself before I went to sleep thinking about mom. I knew she hadn't got long left, but dad hadn't got a clue. She died the following evening. I simply cannot listen to this song now without heading straight back to that evening and thoughts of mom.

After 22 years in the Army trying to fight everyone else's fights it takes a huge toll on you mentally and emotionally. You forget who you are and you lose loved ones along the way, either because they got killed in combat or you've pushed them away to protect yourself and hide the hurt inside. When she slows it down, and repeats that "the sky if finally open" with a head nod and her hand over her heart, I just feel comforting and reassuring things. Pure bliss
