Same! It's one of few albums I never ever put on shuffle because it feels wrong tho listen in the wrong order. I remember the first time I heard Slow Burn - i couldn't stop crying. I can't even explain why it gave me such an emotional reaction but it's still a favorite.

This mother and her pre-teen daughter came into the coffee shop I worked at back then and the girl had on a concert t of yours and I just gushed and was like omg you got to SEE HER and her mom was such a crab.. like her music is depressing... i don't care for it. It took everything in me to not tell her that your music isn't for her. It's for her daughter and everyone in the coming of age season of their lives. And now look at us. Norma Jean was walking through that park with another actors studio student. He wanted to know why no one was noticing her-after all, she was Marylin Monroe. She said, "Oh!, you want to see Marylin?". She turned on Marylin, walked away from him and it drew a crowded. It was an act, a performance. Kacey is so raw and open that I suspect she isn't hiding in there. But, she is treading on the same ground that Marylin did. I have sat in that park at 2am- it has a special vibe.
