Another tip: If you're looking specifically for Adepts and Masterworked version use your resource on opening chests in the activity. When focusing Tomb of Want you spend I believe 5 to focus a specific weapon, and only gives 1, while chests use 2. Tomb of Want is only really good if you want to do other activities while opening them. It's also better to just do the cheaper non focused 'Episodic Weapon' Tomb anyways since you can get the Bow and other weapons not dropping in this act.

I think it gives 3 rewards for spending those 5 Essence of Desire. If you were to get them from chests, you're saving 1 and that can build up over time. Buuut, knowing Bungie, the Tome of Want might not grant Adept versions, I'm not sure.

I randomly got the Adamantite shiny I don’t know what else to call these special weapons but yeah when I pulled up the perk menu I literally screamed when I saw the amount of perks available I also got the sword too and thank you for sharing how to get them because these are insane

The auto is super nice. I’m definitely gonna go for a shiny adept Edit: the activity is pretty fun on expert with a team. Feels like a nice difficulty that requires you to build around it.

I got the 2nd version of Adamantite on my first solo run and I was like whaaaaat is this?! :O The one I got has some insane range as well. Needless to say it quickly became my favorite weapon. As a dude who likes playing support in games, I'm so happy for this gun. Also, damn, it shoots like Osteo Striga - e.g. semi-homing bullets - making it so much fun to stay in the back, shoot at the enemy and heal the fireteam, rinse, repeat :)

Still wish we could just craft the weapons, even if we could only craft the base version. Like why even introduce crafting if your just gonna take it away. Also, did they actually fix weightgate? I don't think they did I think they just paid us off already but did not fix the issue.

Is the new strand rifle better than the”The Call”? I am new and I just found this weapon and it’s the absolute best one I’ve got. I’m using red death for healing in the energy slot currently. It feels like bc of the new patch I have to relearn some parts of the game and get a totally new build

personaly I want an adept adamantite that has both the healing perks AND subsistance elemental honing so if I'm using it as my main weapon I can use the damage but if I'm the teams support I can switch to the healing.

While I agree with you, at the moment with the seasonal stuff, fragile mods, and artifact mods he is right that they are the strongest legendary weapons that can drop right now. It’s only temporary and they’ll just go down so being no more valuable than other adepts after this episode. So it’s a temporary hype and even then the gain is so small that unless you have the time I wouldn’t bother grinding for them, but if you’ve got the time and want the absolute best then these are it.

I've never EVER seen anyone use support frame rifles in pvp, much less iron banner. I've only ever seen anyone use it during raids or dungeons. They are not "death machines" cuz they're not even built to be one . I would rather use a 450 rpm auto rifle than that garbage

Ok the adepts are a nice idea but my god can they stop with the green and gold. Imo they don't look good and its annoying that that colour combo is on all adept weapons recently.
