Drivers door - need to replace/repair the micro switch. Cannot get the end cap to come out despite trying to pull back on the Tx27 screw. Am I missing something here? Is there more to this on the drivers side because of the key mechanism? Don’t want to force it as it showed as coming away easily on the passenger side in your video. To answer my own question: patience and the right size set of long nose pliers! Once inside, the micro switch feels and sounds healthy and the aerial also looks undamaged. Wondering now if there is a way of resetting the locking system …?

I have to replace the door handle, cause the button doesn't work. Can I do it in this manner, or do I have to take the door pannel off?

Do it like this, the cable should draw out the door so that it can be unplugged. I couldn’t pull mine right out as I have extra cables for the led lighting.
