I get that feeling too...the bits of her in the crystal kind of gives me an idea of everything she has gone through (Although I am commenting after it has been revealed, I thought this when I first saw the opening). She has ben pushed to her limits by actions of others.

It feels like the end of the past decade and it bittersweet without context, that we’re approaching the end. Learning some of the context, while I’m not sure if we’ll get the end during this season though I’m sure we’re close, makes this opening so melancholic and sad. I truly wish I could watch this for the first time all over again once season 5 ends. Though I’m sure the past 6 years for me personally and the past decade of waiting helps. It probably contributes to the emotional connection to this series. It feels like a painful goodbye in a way that subverts expectations.

@@SoulburgersSollBy the way things are going as we have 4 episodes remaining right now, it’s extremely likely that they will cover the entirety of Volume 19 as I’m starting to believe that we are ending Season 5 on Volume 19 plus 4 episodes is enough to get through Mio True End. Edit: Basically the chances that we get a movie all depends on if Season 5 covered Volume 20 but I don’t see that as a possibility now so it’s likely that Season 6 will cover Volumes 20, 21 and 22 of the Light Novels.

Sometimes it feels like I am waiting 100 years for things to happen in this season so it feels like they are almost covering things in detail to have enough stuff left for another season/ movie. However, as an anime only person, it feels like this is the end so if the producers are lazy they can get away with ending the series by wrapping up stuff about the sprit of origin, as this is what the series has developed towards. I really hope the popularity of the series stops them from taking that easy option.

OP最高だったね！特に士道が刻々帝【六の弾】(ヴァヴ)を使用する瞬間。ここを入れてくれているのが嬉しい！そして何よりも狂三！通常霊装からのまた新たな霊装が登場するところ。まさかこんな形で初めて見ることになるなんて思わなかった最高すぎる。最後に精霊たちが順番に映っていくシーン、これ原作読んだ人からすると絶望の順番だろ

I’m for sure not ready for it as an anime only watcher. This has me crying more and more as I’m connecting the dots and figuring out more about Mio.

@@SoulburgersSoll Same here. I am a huge fan of Mio (As you can tell by me profile pic) and I hope she gets a proper resolution than just being brushed aside as a villain, because otherwise it would not be fair. She had gone through a lot because of other's actions so she can't fully be blamed for her actions.
