Love that y'all are showing these kids the ability of the k9 . well done! as a mother and trainer myself hearing the amazement in their cheers makes me smile. Good that you are using the K9 in tandom with teaching about drugs and crime being bad. I think using the dog that every child loves is a better way to reach them. So proud of the job y'all are doing. Pray for your safety on the job and thank you for your hard work

This was a great message to the kids about how bad drugs are. The dogs are great athletes that are four pawed officers. I had the great opportunity to photograph the K9's while training several years ago, and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about it, amazing! I just hope that every officer goes home safe at the end of their shift.

when the first dog chased the guy the dog took a long time to get him off then he was tugging on the leash super hard and when he got in the car the handler looked so relieved

If I had school events like this when I was a kid.. I would've been a cop now for 20+ years instead of a lowly computer nerd. Maybe there is still some hope for our younger generations after all.

These guys never came to the private school in Ventura. And in Camarillo we got trips to the community center to watch Peter and the Wolf. Probably why I don't own a Ferrari as the officer said in the Video.

i love how a lot of these officers throw on these thigh holsters not knowing how to properly "wear" them. thigh holsters are intended to be worn with heavy body armor and the drop is meant to clear the bulk of the armor. try running after a subject in full sprint with the holster that low and tell me how that's working out after your holster slaps you in the balls. you are not a bad ass just because you wear a thigh holster to play GI joe and esp if you lack the knowledge of knowing how to "properly" wear and set up your holster. if you take care of your gear/equipment, it will take care of you. i support law enforcement for all the courage, stress and situations yall have to deal with at the shitty pay you get. #thinblueline
