Oh man, I knew someone else was graduating, but I didn't know it was Alenka. I still think about their Phasmo collab a lot, and the Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes stream. I was always sort of waiting patiently for the next collab, and now it seems that it will never come. I hope she lands on her feet.

It's props a long shot but one can still hope that Alenka gets isekaid into Hololive ID. I dont even want to Imagine how many applications land on covers desk for every new Gen of each of their branches so they arent exactly strapped for Talents. Im sure it would make Kaela happy, but it is still a buisness and hiring a friend of an employee just for friendships sake isn't always the best buisness decision when there are potentially more promising applicants to consider.

Alenka actually would fit with any requrement as holoID members: an experience streamer with nice personality, can speak english, a good collabs partner, can handle nice convo with chats, and she can sing very well. Nepotism is not that taboo in hololive, korone was recommended by okayu irl, as they both already being friends before hololive. Ofc alenka had to do auditions and interviews before got into hololive (if holo want to add holoid4 and she wants it). But if she does, she's already on top position candidate.

Never heard of Alenka and such a sporadic viewer of Kaela that I've not watched any of their collabs, but she managed to build up her audience to 341k subs in just 2 years yet her company is forcing her and all of their other affiliated vtubers to graduate and lose it all? This is absurd and heartbreaking. I hope she can find her audience again and thrive without such a clearly crappy company.

The main problem is, the ID market is already heavily saturated and yet vtuber market venue growth is really slow. There's only so much sponsorship opportunity in ID (even HoloID doesn't get that much), unlike the vtuber scene in Japan where they managed to penetrate general brand markets, or in EU/US where streamer partnerships is pretty norm, in ID the main bottleneck is the advertising industry that still didn't took vtuber reach seriously. The sponsorship scene is still dominated by instagram/tiktok/youtube celebs. Only recently Hololive got one sponsorship deals with Indomie to market their Tori Kara flavour, other than that, vtubers only got small sponsorship viability here. Which is why ID vtuber scene is heavily dependent on fan donations and merch.
