I don't care how old or new the video is, I love them all. I watch a lot of KZbin in a big range of topics and interests. Your channel is my favorite! I am so excited when I get a notification that you have a new one. It would be a dream come true to get to Oregon and visit. I might need to wear a bib with all the drooling I would do in that sea of beautiful fabric and quilts. 😄 No, no actual drooling. Thank you for all you and Matt do to bring so much joy to so many people.

I know I am getting here after many years. But I have just made a quilt using your tutorial and pattern for Project Linus and wanted to say thank you. I am a tentative quilter, but absolutely loved making this, and the kite tail border is adorable. I made it with my blue, white and red scraps with a bit of grey and charcoal thrown in and I hope some young person will love it.

I am a 30 year retired teacher and we were instructed to repeat instructions 30 times to make sure the students comprehended. I hear you every time. Thank you. Your photographer is the best!

Cutting and discarding the double triangles. From the pieced rectangles has always bothered me, but by increasing the seam to 3/8” and making the smaller 1/2 square triangles into a kite tail design kid both economical and inspirational. THANK YOU! Slainte!

I love the way Donna uses the extras for borders (or pillows, table runners...) in so many of her designs! They add a beautiful unique touch while encouraging creativity. I rarely buy fabric (I use cut-up clothes, etc. and gleaned yardage), but if I did, I would do just what I do anyway-- avoid waste-- which is what Donna's cute bonus projects do.

My favorite of yours. Everyone is soo crazy for Kaffe Fassett, and I won’t argue. But they all kind of look like a Las Vegas Casino wall-to-wall carpet that’s designed for you to lose your dropped change on! I don’t typically like quilts with a lot of them mixed. This is an ideal balance. Well done with the color play!!

Donna!!! I am breaking my brain trying to get the perfect configuration on how to cut these with fat quarters. I must be an utter ditz! I actually had to sew two waste pieces together to get the star legs on some. I'm channeling my fore-mothers who were resourceful and creative (and self-forgiving?) and did whatever it took to get that piece together! Can you create a cutting diagram for fat quarters? That would be so stash-friendly since I fall in love with fabrics in fat quarter bundles and then find the pattern I want to do later. I've been doing this with a bunch of not so fabulous fabrics just to figure out the cutting diagram and have yet to grock it!

Will you ever have something like this again.? I realize you probably don't have anymore of the exact material but something comparable. And, yes, you are the best teacher out there, hands down.
