Ohhhhh Kafka! Loved this girl from the first time I saw her, the amount of fanart after the fact and the fandubs.........One in particular sticks with me greatly. It's actually shocking (no pun intended) how good she is. I placed her in my current team in place of Yanqing with Bailu, Pela, and Tingyun. And even without another DoT centric unit, she's holding off the damage really well. She deals rlly strong AoE dmg by spreading her shocks. With Tingyun helping her to ult more frequently (that sweet sweet ult animation). The wait was very very worth it. I did not expect for her to do so much damage, let alone on her own but I was really really happy. I'm even considering using my remaining jades to pull for at least her E1, if lucky maybe even her E2.

(Mostly because I'd like to save funds for future characters) The fact that she can trigger DoT with her skill makes DoT playstyles more playable to me, being so used to regular attacking. Kafka literally went past what my properly built Seele could do currently, she freaking dealt 100K with her ult. I tried out using crit Kafka and Attack Kafka. The way I see it, there isn't that much of a difference actually as long as your team is good as mentioned in the video. Going for Attack will make more sense, but I'm probably going to stick to my crit Kafka just because she's dealing good damage either way. Also, it helps in making sure she'll still deal good damage even when RNG looked down on you and decides to kill your other DoT unit, which I can't stress enough, is a big reduction to her over all damage.

Thankfully, Mommy came home and she's already at Lvl 80 w/ a LVL70 S4 "Good Night & Sleep Well" I have one question though: If Kafka's faster than her teammates, that means she's not gonna be triggering the DoTs with her skill (since none have been applied yet) is it worth going for AtK% instead of Speed boots in that case? (at least, until I can build her teammates to be faster)

Hook actually has a pretty strong scaling burn and is not dependend on break but a chance on her skill use and enhanced skll. With eidolons even far stronger. I think she might be pretty strong with Kafka.

If it's for the third slot, Hook is bad for her team though, even himeko, their DOT's are crappy as heck Third slot should be any of the buffers/debuffers like asta, sw, tingyun, pela Better use fire trailblazer with "Trends of the Universal Market" if you want fire DOT

Only work if you put Pitch Dark Hook the Great as the main DPS while Kafka function as regular sub-DPS nihility unit that explodes Diggertron's burn.. Such comp is viable too but very niche.. In my circle, I'm the only one who runs the boss that way, others who don't have 5★ DPS hyper carry usually maining Sushang, Dan Heng, QQ.. Boss Hook's team now looks like this: Pela with Eyes of the Prey, Kafka with Tutorial, and a sustain unit.. I used to run her with Sampo, but now that Kafka is here and his lightcone is on Pela, he's now supporting Dan Heng & Luocha with Asta.. I know that Asta's SPD buff is more beneficial for Kafka IF she's the main DPS, but in my case, she isn't, well that doesn't mean I didn't put SPD sub-stats on her tho.. TL;DR: Kafka opens up many possibilities of new team comps to tinker to, depending what units we currently have and what play style we like, for those who prefer CV, just follow the meta..

@@linuxjodi4311 Ye, i might try around different things with Hook or even a Stellaron team with Blade, Silverwolf and kafka with a heal. Might not be the most efficient thing but since she also activates the break buffs, she could do something with blade who breaks regulary and also uses alot basic attack for her follow up and silver gives the weaknesses and debuffs. Wanna see if its also nice to not focus on complete dot with the Luca, Sampo standart now. Even if i just got 5 sampos in a row... ^^ Will see. if its not the best grp, then atleast a nice Stellaron hunter gang! :P

For level and trace's I immediately max her out from the tip of her toes to the tip of her hair 🤣 For relic i use. 4pc BOST attack boots and crit armor. the reason i use crit armor is because so i can proc the 2pc Salsotto passive by having over 50% crit rate. Both piece with attack stat.

Remember you guys need atleast 60+ ehr if you have E1L1 o/w against higher res enimies it doesn't pack a punch And Luka is the best dot pair for kafka since most of the time we use Luka for only normal attacks which helps to trigger Kafka follow ups more....

Just want to share my excitement with you guys, i saved up about 80 pulls for Kafka, didn´t pull for blade yet and this is what happenend: -Decided to do a single 10 pull on Blade with about 20 pity build up, guaranteed 50/50 and i pulled Blade. Was Kinda bummed out cause i really wanted Kafka -Did a single pull because i was close to getting my guaranteed 4 star. I pulled another copy of Blade. -Kafka got released so i did a 10 pull, another 5 star but i missed the 50/50 and pulled Himeko instead. -Then after 50 pulls i finally got Kafka I have never been so lucky before, been playing Genshin Impact for 1.5 years and the earliest i ever got a 5 star was at 55 pity. Today was a good day.

Hi Sevy!! Though this might be a long shot, I will still try to ask for your advice. In your experience, is it worth pulling for E2 for Kafka? Or should I just get her LC instead? Currently running her with a DOT team with Gui, Sampo, and HuoHuo. LC is Good Night Sleep Well at S4. Planning to change Sampo to Black Swan once she comes out, btw. Also, I don’t plan (yet) on running kafka with a harmony character, since I enjoy playing her with 2 other dot characters and 1 sustain. (But if you think pulling Ruan Mei is better for dot, than I’ll consider doing that) I’m just not sure what would benefit me better, in consideration with the team composition I mentioned above. Another little synergistic source of DOT is MC fire tank with the light cone trend of the universal market. I got lucky enough to S5 while going for kafka and e6 serval. Even though i have gepard i think having MC take over just for the extra dot may just be worth it.

Great video Sevy! your character guides are the best! but I have a doubt, if I have my Kafka with 115 speed at the start of the fight (I assume that the secondary bonus of the ornaments would not be applying) and after that with the help of an Asta or her own light cone, Kafka's speed exceeds 120, does that make the bonus of the ornaments apply? Because I saw other people say that if you have an Asta in your team and if you have her light cone, it is not necessary to use speed boots.

i got her in 20 warp!! on a 50/50 (and also sampo who evaded me so far) on who to put her with on team... actually, HARMony MC from leaks seems her best support. Spoiler incoming . : : : : : : : : leak give harmony MC as an imaginary chara: basic atk is nothign worth mention, and the ult just buff break effect, based on MC break effect, the juicy part are skill and talent the skill grant a single ally a special buff that last until battle end or until casted on another ally (making HMC absolutly skill point positive) and has 2 benefit (one is base the second ascension) -when buffed ally attack, Mc will launch 2 follow-up on all enemies, one imaginary and one based on beffed ally element -A2: when buffed ally break an enemy, double the break effect (break dmg is dealt twice, and Dot are doubled, aka another one is aplied, or futher delayed) and then the kicker. talent: when any enemy is broken, they gain a second weakness bar. it act as the usual one but reset instnatly, you cna break it as usual, proking break and aassociated effect (is removed once enemy recover from break) MC deal bonus weakness dmg to it
