Kafka’s DoT teams have been getting so much support but not much are talking about it. They got a 5 star from Herta shop when Erudition needed a better option, they got a dedicated relic set that ignores DEF, substat farming is much easier since crits arent needed, in 2.0 they will get a new 4 star lc that ignores DEF again. She silently aged well every patch cuz the release of Huohuo and Ruan Mei greatly helped her team too

I basically lived in that cavern, now my Kafka has 150 speed, 3.3k atk without her sig LC and Sampo too has 150 speed (RM passive speed buff will get them to 160 in battle) 😆

@@ronreed4050according to a spreadsheet I saw, GNSW is 3% less damage than Patience Is All You Need(Sig). Another good choice is fermata S5 if you have it, it's only 8% less damage than Sig. I'm not sure about the Herta LC tho.

Kafka is a character that is hard to power creep, since a lot of her power comes from the fact that she can steal the power of every single other character in her archetype. This turns every single contender she might have into just a second lightcone slot for her.

I always said "Kafka can't be power crept, unless they add 3 more DoT activators because then there isn't enough space to put all 4 in a team unless you want no sustainer" Which I already know it won't happen, it's more probable that the maximum that star rail would add is 1 more character with DoT activator because they don't want to just copy and paste characters kits

I think we will eventually get a better harmony chadacter for DoT teams. Ruan Mei is very, very nice. But shes a much better character for break effect teams. I'm hoping we will get a character who massively buffs DoT based attacks specifically, with a little speed buff on the side.

Ruan Mei is the best unit for any DoT team, since she increases DMG of the entire team, thus increasing damage of every DoT. Currently, Ruan Mei is the best for any DoT team (much better than another DoT unit). Also, DoT units generally reduce toughness a lot.

It's true regarding Nihility path in SU. I was playing on conundrum 9 using Abundance path for fun. I tried it 4-5 times and always failed at the last boss. Then I got Kafka and did a Nihility run... I won first try.

Abundance path is quite bad for SU tbh. Propagation (especially if you have DHIL), Nihility and Remembrance are the best ones.

You know what's funny though? You can put Prisoner set on anyone that isn't dot. You just need to hit enemies with dots on them. So if you have a main carry with dot subdps this still works. Also SU has a nihility path that applies dots without needing any dot characters.

They said DoT set is like 10-20% probably 30% increase but my sampo started dishing 40ks when 2pc2pc before only dealt 21k. Idk what exactly happened but it's great and I love it

I spent 2 whole months of farming the dot set domain. Trying to min max the crap out of it, giving the best gear to kafka and sup-par ones to sampoo. But lo and behold, sampoo still does more DMG than my kafka. At least she's at 158 SPD now TuT

I just got krfka today cus i want her for my sampo ( yes i pulled just to play sampo well ) And i been playing her like 3-4 hours today and i have to say she is really good especially i been only playing for like over 1 month and don't have a lot of stuff(relic and LC) yet but she been clearing stuff i wasn't able to clear before. (Ahem world 6 / the way i have clear world 7 and 8 easier than 6) I don't think she will lose value since making dot do instant dmg on her skill is very good with all of the dot units. Not to mention she is easy to build (my krfka and sampo is even build yet since i don't have enough mat level up a lot of relic but she is still doing good dmg)

That is what I had in mind when pulled for her, the stronger the DoT characters are in the future the stronger Kafka is, she has built-in anti power creep lol, however the problem rn is that current harmony/hyper carry comps power creep the current kafka DoT teams so hopefully BS will tighten the gap

8:35 Kafka is one of the most beginner friendly DoT characters. Her traces give her some effect hit rate AND makes gives her 130% base chance to apply shock. So Until you hit high level MoC, there is literally no reason to bother with effect hit rate substats. So just put attack, speed, and lightning damage, and she does fine. Also, combine her with a buffer and a preservation character, and you have a set up that could work for most weakness- just plug in a DoT charcter for fire, wind, lightning, or physical into the last and it will work fine. I'm still waiting until Mihoyo finally caves and creates some ice, quantum, and imaginary characters with their own DoT effects (similar to Kafka's light cone)

No need to care about tone if you can't understand the difference between tone Anyway, I have some thoughts regarding dot team's future. The cn community (not sure about content creator)are not happy with how black swan's abilities only takes effect during enemies turn (I think it's the def down and dmg increase effect) which makes kafka unable to utilize it. They think that dot team is doomed because dot team's ceiling isn't even high compared to the likes of dan heng and jingliu, plus if they can design black swan to not synergies well with kafka, that means every dot characters in the future will be the same. One sentence you'd hear the most is 未来可期未来抽, basically means if kafka's future is promising, pull for her in future. Meaning that right now she has little value Anyway here comes my actual thoughts, I don't think that will be the case at all. Will black swan not synergies as well as the 4 star dot characters cause an inevitable doom to the entire dot team? Obviously not. Because even if black swan do ended up being terrible (which I don't think she will), she was never the end all be all of dot team anyway, kafka is. Is kafka bad? Not at all. So how would black swan being bad = kafka being bad? Even if that is the case, what makes you think every future dot character will be like black swan whose synergy is worse than 4 stars? Now, is dot team truly a low ceiling team that's simply worse in every single way compare to jingliu and dan heng? I don't think so. If anything, I'd say dot team has a higher ceiling. Why? Because due to kafka's nature, she's meant to be in a team where everyone deals dmg. More precisely, dot dmg. Whereas for jingliu and dan heng, their ceiling is as high as you can see. As in, wherever they're at right now, they'll stay there for the rest of their life. They'll likely never improve overtime. At least not in the sense that dot team can. The only way you can improve them in a meaningful way is to get their eidolons which is fair, because E1 and E2 isn't exactly impossible for the likes of f2p, but I can't say the same for E6 So erm, how much of what I said will become true, only time will tell. Hopefully black swan ended up exceeding everyone's expectations I guess

Add a kafka to that, and suddenly, dot becomes flashy and does big pp dmg, just as much as crit does. @saber8548 Not exactly. Physical break is both the strongest initial break AND break dot. Wind is solid in both, but nowhere near, and fire has the same initial break multiplier, but the fire break dot is a joke, sadly. Luka is the only one who can trigger physical dot on command like kafka, and that includes break dot. The rest are all great units ofc, but he's in a league of his own in terms of raw dmg with the break build. ofc his weakness is aoe coverage, which is excellent with both sampo and guin.

Acheron kit has a special debuff that only she can apply and when that reaches max stacks she can use her ult (she has no energy btw) and she deals more damage for each debuff the enemy has, she is basically a hypercarry nihility character instead of a debuffer
