Actually, I think it makes a lot of sense for the Director to "stress test" Kafka now. Imagine if they just accept him back and he goes full uncontrollable berserker in the middle of a mission. If someone of Papa Shinomiya's level isn't around to stop him he could accidentally kill a lot of people.

I'm understand where you are coming from, but making weapons from kaiju and having a live kaiju on your side is two completely different thing. You will have full control of the former, and that what they always did until now. It is basically similar to Eren's case, and as much as I want Kafka to beat his ass, that would not help his case at all.

Yeah, that's like the biggest issue with most reactions to shows that have moments and decisions like this, because the majority of them forget to think of anything other than entertainment with a show and just ignore the world building/writing that directly tells you "These things slaughter thousands every time they show up, why work WITH one if we can SAFELY AND RELIABLY use their body parts in a weapon?". Meta information that the audience has and their desire for an interesting show ends up making the things they say feel like they just saying things for the sake of saying them.

@@Skip_56 Exactly. The information the audience has is irrelevant to how the characters in a show act, yet majority of reaction channels still say stuff that acts AGAINST the writing of a show, even if the writing is 100% logical and sound.

@@TheSpiralSpiderWebI do see and understand your point I do wanna point out though that the bald guy said in kaiju no.2 case only isao has been compatible with it there is a chance that killing Kafka and making him into a weapon leads to a number that no one is compatible with so not the most reliable I think that is something to consider. I don’t think that invalidates your point of why work with a kaiju but it isn’t a guarantee that they will be able to use it if they do kill him.

I mean to be fair, the dialogue was "Kill...Kill...Kaiju...Kill" iirc. It can easily be misconstrued as "A Kaiju must kill" or "You're a Kaiju so you must kill". If the dialogue was "Kill Kaiju...Kill Kaiju..." Then I reckon more people would get it.

To clarify numbered weapons are unique. Custom weapons or made by mostly common on rare kaiju materials to suit the user.

Considering all the crazy stuff he turned into in EP2, I think the Bug Kaiju morphed his heart into a Core, because no way Kafka is in his 30s and NO ONE noticed anything weird about his x rays and stuff until AFTER he became #8 XD

AHHHHH EVERYONE HAD BELIEVED IN KAFKA AND STILL SAW HIM AS A FRIEND 😭😭😭😭. The animation was fire but I'm too pissed off at the fact that kafka was defending himself THE WHOLE TIME, meanwhile the old guy was beating him ass, actually trying to kill him. Kafka fearing for his life, goes into self defense mode then the old man has the nerve to say "so you finally showing your true self?" MF you trying to kill him, of course he'll defend himself.

Man, 2 videos in a row and you still lack the ability to understand things from the shows perspective XD The Chief Commanders job is to protect his country and kill Kaijus, especially numbered Kaijus. He SHOT Kafka like 5 times and ripped out his side, and proved his heart is now a Kaiju core, FYM "he has the nerve to say", he has every logical right to call him a monster at this point.

I personally have a theory that the Bug was looking for a suitable host, someone who was old enough so their body could hold up to the transformation but also weak enough so that it likely could hide out inside him with little attention, but Kafka using it's powers the way he has messed up that part so it instead worked to alert him to Kaiju threats (That sense thing when he felt #10 get stronger) but now it's taking over his body because his actions will directly cause it to die alongside him.

Two things that are becoming very apparent to me seeing reactors watch this show: 1. The characters in this show do not behave the same way like most rash and immature characters do in so many other anime (particularly shonen anime). Obviously Kaiju, the fights, and some of the concepts in the show are ridiculous and there for spectacle, but as far as the way people behave and the way the world/systems work in this universe it is extremely grounded. You have to really understand these are adults trying to make the best decisions for the most people as possible. 2. Reactors seriously need to get out more. Idk what it is, but so many of you just don’t get certain things. “This is not the time to be asking Mina that…” bro it is 100% THE time to talk to Mina about that. It could literally be the last time they ever speak to each other and they are both fully aware of that 🙄

@@user-pm9ev3up5t You directly just answered why the OP is correct here. KAFKA would not stand a chance against the Army, especially the Chief Commander. Him being Berserk means KAIJU NUMBER 8 is capable of fighting the army because it will just fight with no regard to Kafka's body limitations (See next ep when #8 is fighting it's own way). Kafka Loses, #8 stands a chance, plain and simple.
