In a small tournament, he used her once, but in a big tournament, you're right, that was the first time outing, and i believe he just seriously started practicing only two or three weeks. His Sheik is gonna be out of the world.

Not to nitpick players that are better than me but Zackray definitely doesn't know the Ridley match up. He died repeatedly to SPR sub 140% and didn't even attempt to mash out. Every time Nagare threw out a random Fsmash in neutral I cringed. That cost him dearly and he only hit it twice

Zackray said on his stream he had only 2 friendly matches to warm up his hands before the actual bracket started on day1 . On day 2 after playing for several hours he was warmed up and confident enough to bring out his Sheik at a crucial moment and was playing much better , but here at 10-11am pools he wasn't quite ready . While Sheik requires optimal gameplay , he says Rob is that kind of character that gets its job done anytime so he switched . This was Zackray's 1st time he used Sheik at a major . After watching Smash world tour and seeing all those Pyra/Mythras dominating he said that he wanted start practising Sheik seriously , and eventually bring the character out in bracket . And 3 weeks later there we have it . Honestly I wasn't expecting to see his Shiek so soon though. So yeah he is obviously still improving but apparently has a clear vision as to how his Sheik will end up being . He does believe that Sheik is better than Joker and plans to main her . Mind you he thinks Joker loses to Aegis while Sheik beats them , so that is something to think about especially after seeing how he beat Shuton in grands with his Joker . As for Nagare, he is Japan's best or 2nd best solo Ridley so yeah he's really good . (surprisingly at this Kagaribi , there was this other solo Ridley player , Momon ,who outplaced Nagare)

@@lokks2130 Ftilt is a godlike spacing tool and dtilt is a solid poke. Nair is very good, yes, but certainly not all he has. The general size of his hitboxes coupled with his speed is also daunting for lots of characters. Those two things also allow him to condition for more grabs, which is where he gets a majority of his damage.
