Alcohol is usually placed in the back in most stores to prevent theft lol. Don’t wanna put whiskey bottles right by the front door

In my experience, increase in sales has nothing to do with more or less licenses. I’ve experimented with buying all of them and with buying just one and running the game forever. Both ways make a lot of money. The sales come from more customers, which is just from increasing the store level. But from what I can tell, the customers always buy roughly the same number of products whether that’s spread over 6 products or 100. They just buy more peanut butter if that’s all you have. 😂

Why not just leave all the toilet paper/paper towels outside. This way you can make storage for the newer alcohols. Them huge box items only fit a couple per shelf, seems like it would be easier to stock those items yourself

I bought all the storage last night in my game just to see how it feels and I do agree it’s too small. I don’t really use it all cuz I don’t have much backstock, but I can see how it would quickly feel cramped if you’re trying to make a place for everything. It should probably be at least double that space.

Out of your alcohols, wine, whiskey/bourbon, and beer, followed closely by vodka and tequilla, are your better sellers. Stores will keep them in stock over the others, with a few exceptions. At least in the US. With the game originating in France (if memory serves), all of those are right, just minus the tequila. Your store is looking great, and if you had to grab another license, you picked a good one!

You can charge more. 7% increases is ideal. Some guy on Steam figured it out. That’s the ideal balance between profit and customer complaints. Basically aim for between 5 and 10% and you should be good. Too low and you’re losing potential profit and too high and you’re also losing profit because people complain and don’t buy it. What I do is calculate 10% and round down to the nearest 0.25. So an item with market value of $22.55, for example… 10% is 2.25. So $24.80 rounded down… sell for $24.75.

I use a markup calculator and I use 8% on most stuff and the "bigger stuff" such as TP, Potatoes, Chicken - I put 10% or even more sometimes. That way the bulky items sell less but I get more money when they do sell, but I still have to restock daily evem though the items are more expensive. Working out perfect for me!

Only making $5-7 profit on the new alcohol, it's going to take a long time to make that $64k. I did think of a simple solution for the developer for storage. Just make that very top shelf usable. If you had 5 shelves per storage rack instead of 4, then you suddenly have 50+ more shelves.

I've crunched the numbers between day 220 and day 370.The average sale per customer seems to have risen with the purchase of a new license..at lease on my game.

Ive been playing this game daily now and I am actually losing interest. And its not because of the storage space which I thought would be why, but because of the ordering and restocking. Its starting to get way too tedious as I level up. Wish we at least didnt have to individually put every single box manually, most of the time spent on this game I spend going back and forth street-storage. Its becoming extremely annoying. Wish we get an update, I really dont want to use mods :(

I want to tell this just for sharing my experience… yes i finished the game and purchased everything and get the 3rd achievement on steam… (sorry mom) well... I must say THEN i really lost interest in the game😅 jeez i didn’t run a single day after . Couldn’t see any point in going on. Or some can decide to play forever😂 don’t know. Vey weird game and effect and addiction in playing it… but it was fun… i think.. i am still asking myself😂 . i don’t make videos, i just play so i guess mr. Kage’s position is different anyway… at least is work😅 And last… i loved your effort on saying your name as a spelling machine😂. But honestly… i am italian and always understand you perfectly.. plus… if you subscribe to a channel you don’t need to spell and check his name all the time.. we are fans of Kage.. we know our numbers 😂 so don’t bother too much…
