If people think Phase 3 has been too long already, I hope they go play retail or something else instead of pushing SoD to make the exact same mistakes retail did, all over again. The reason people wanted Classic/Classic+ was because they wanted smaller and slower, not bigger and quicker, but that is the direction some are pushing for. I have not even seen the inside of STV yet, and I'm in the majority. *So if you're **_that_** sweaty, may I suggest a shower and a Pina Colada while the rest of us enjoy the content? :)*

I'm certain this is the best decision for Blizzard, but not for the players. The next quarterly report typically comes out at the end of June, so Blizzard aims to maximize profits before then. It raises the question: what will boost their profits more, the Cataclysm launch with its retail-like cash shop or SoD in the middle of phase 3? Then you get phase 4 launching after hype for Cata has died down to keep more people subscribed.

Well im just stock piling more and more materials for Greater Firepower Elixir Recipe. Currently at enough Fire Oil and Firebloom for 345 Elixirs. With Specialist in both Elixirs and Transmute im hoping to hit big with extra procs when I farm the recipe ASAP next phase.

Why didn't they just wait with the whole SoD thing until they have most stuff in place. Why they are doing this on the go phase for phase, then have to rush it bringing out unfinished stuff or get tangled up with other releases. This all feels just really half-assed and like they now have to keep it going since there's some ppl stilll invested

I'm quite concerned about the info about level 60. One new raid every month will be quite bad to get tier sets and other stuff

So Phase 3 is going to be extended, the phase with the least amount of content compared to P1 and P2. On top of that, the Phase 4 raids will be rolled out every few weeks, compared to Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3 which was 2 or 3 months of a raid. I do hope the mention of "a few weeks" is more like 2 months instead of 1 raid every month. If it's the latter, it seems they want to end SoD soon.

@@Kaghoegaming Yes, delaying P4 makes sense with them wanting to play Cata. My main concern is how quickly they will launch raids in P4 based on the term "few weeks" in the blue post. If they release raids every Month, then SoD will end sooner than later. If they release raids every 2 months in P4, SoD will last longer. I assume SoD players would favor the latter of those two.

@@darren494 You don't think people will be bored if the raids are released slower? There is no more world quests and levelling to keep people busy. Better they release every month and let people progress at their own pace. Noone forces you to stop doing MC just because BWL opened up.

@@bspus You have a lot to do at level 60 on one toon and it hasn't been any different than the other level caps of SoD. So if you're playing one toon only, you'll get bored. Also, why would anyone go to MC if they have the gear they need or they can get the gear they don't have in BWL? Makes no sense to go back to past raids at that point.

Hope they don’t rush out another phase as Phase 3 felt and incursions took the playerbase out of the old world and into a boring conveyor belt. I expected new zones, flight paths, over 50 new non-repeatable quests, new items, etc. Incursions was the biggest let down of the whole season. Wish they would just admit it and erase from the game.

devs are too easy to read. called this on a video you made not too long ago, how P3 was gonna be a lengthy one. Incursions being a gold printer day 1 was an absolute outlier. get ready for the economy to be absolutely trashed in P4.

Shadow priest dots and shamans do WAY too much damage. I can’t even get close to most casters do do damage. Especially as a feral Druid my only hard hitting ability is shred and it has to hit from behind to use. Makes life rough.

PvP damage reduction healing reduction. None of it matters if they don’t fix elemental shamans damage in PvP.

@@RichSmithson Not surprised, I saw this coming a mile away when I looked at the Classic WoW timeline and scheduled release windows for the Cata content and saw they were changing from a 3 day lockout to a 7 day lockout. I’m guessing they overcommitted and Cata was a buggier mess than they anticipated. I’ve been saying late June as a release date regardless, hard to tell if “delay” means late summer or what they could be thinking. I’d hope we see a PTR in 2-3 weeks and then phase 4 3-4 weeks after that
