Railway station is in Bamnia-Beladi Panchayat. Distance between Begunkodar Railway station to Begunkodar town is nearly 10 km. Many such stories are there. Many times I have taken train from here. I had a chilling experience here back in 2021, maybe. I'm not Bengali, and I had no Bengali friends, so I had no idea about this place. I was on a train passing this station around 5-6 PM when a railway worker came and told us that we were about to enter Begunkodar Station. He requested everyone to stay in their seats and not to stroll or stand by the door, as the train would take on a much higher speed than normal. When the station arrived, we were all in our places, but there was this one guy who went and stood near the door to smoke. The door was closed. As the train passed the station house, the door opened, and the guy who was smoking fell out right in front of our eyes. We heard a scream, and then it was back to normal. The train was moving so fast that I don't think that person survived. It was a haunting and chilling experience, even though I agree that it could have been an accident where he couldn't keep his balance on the fast-moving train and fell. But still, it's chilling. Afterward, I learned about this station. But no, no such DDLJ in bootni universe took place 😂

I'm from Begunkodar, Main thing is why people don't use this platform so much coz its too far from the actual village, There is no city near by even GOVT named it Begunkodar but acutely it's not under our panchayat also there is noting but so many rumors about this station may be it is situated in very quite place that the reason, Multiple people came here from Kolkata and various places occasionally for doing some kind of ghost finding survey but its funny to us we knew it's just rumors nothing else but people from another places took it very seriously 😂

I do journey from Jharkhand...and whenever i go west bengal ... 🚆 train stops at this station. Every local people knows it's a haunted station..so if it's evening time people chant hanuman chalisa..and train never crosses that station at night time. Even those stories are true till date. Even we saw that tree and taken couple of snaps of that station. I crossed that station last year.
