Kahurangi Lighthouse Trip - Day 5, Porika Track, Maud Creek, Final Day - Lake Views, Saw Mill

This video is Day 5 and the final day of the trip. We head over to Lake Rotoroa and up the Porika track, before exploring up the Maud Creek. checking an old sawmill and old milking equipment.
Then we head back home to Christchurch.

Hey Jeremy, so when you say "through a farm"... (like you did on the old takaka track) do you need permission?

Although it's accessed through private farmland, as per the snip below of the Doc sign at the start of the track, no permission is required as long as you remain on the formed track, it sounds like there's a public right of way in place. See my post under the community tab to see a picture of the DOC sign.
