60 MILLION DOWN THE DRAIN, KAI HAVERTZ SCORES AGAIN!
@jonathanward15854 ай бұрын
I always believed in Kai Havertz and said all he needs is his confidence back.. we got a broken Kai Havertz but with the help of Arteta, the squad, and the fans lifted him up and has turned Kai Havertz around. And now he is one of the best player on the field. Goals, assists, and his tracking back is top notch!

Kai Havertz has been a man reborn in recent months and is proving the critics wrong. He had his moments at Chelsea like scoring the game winning goal in the champions league final and scored so many important goals, he was very inconsistent there. He was known for not being clinical in front of goal and missed too many chances which didn’t get as much criticism even though it did due to how bad Timo Werner’s finishing was. Which is why when Arsenal signed him last summer, it raised a lot of eyebrows because Havertz has been very inconsistent in the last 3 years and it was obvious that Mikel Arteta saw something in him that others didn’t see. Under Arteta, apart from 1 or 2 transfers, Arsenal haven’t put a foot wrong in teens of their recruitment. He started the season very slowly a string of underwhelming performances led to criticism from fans and pundits that he was “a misfit flop player that they shouldn’t have signed him, overrated moments player lazy, what does Arteta see in him why does he always play never reach his potential and they can’t win the premier league with him in the team”. He never really looked comfortable in that CM position. In recent months, he’s been coming good at Arsenal and he’s been in the best form of his career in the Premier League starting to replicate his Bayer Leverkusen performances. He has been an unsung hero in Arsenal’s title charge and they’re making a push for the premier league title even if their efforts won’t be enough for them to win the Premier League. In his last 11 games in the Premier League he has 8 goals and 5 assists and his 12 goals and 6 assists 18 G/A in the league he has more G/A in his debut season at Arsenal than he ever did at Chelsea in the Premier League. Many of us believed that he wasn’t a center forward, they managed to get the best out of him in that striker position where he’s scoring goals and is looking good overall. Against his former club Chelsea he got 2 goals and even celebrated against them and against Tottenham he had a stellar performance where he got a goal and an assist. You can’t write off players too soon because with Havertz it didn’t work out for him at Chelsea, he looks more comfortable in Arsenal’s system under Mikel Arteta and players like him need that environment to thrive. Being surrounded around a much better team also helps his performances as well. Arsenal might not win the premier league, they’re still in contention by the way and the title race isn’t over yet, Havertz has been unbelievable lately and this is a prime example on why you need to back certain players even if they’re at such a low point. Despite his form, many people believe that Arsenal still needs to go out and buy a proper striker because with a number 9, it’s true they’ll be much better, let’s see what they do in the transfer market in the summer regardless of whether or not they win the premier league with Havertz up top. Let’s hope that his current form isn’t a purple patch and that he’s able to sustain a high level of play for a certain period of time he lacked that at Chelsea, things have been different for him at Arsenal right now.

I think the midfield position helped him understand what arteta wants from a midfield, as he understands what ødegaard, rice, jorginho and maybe partey are going to do whilst he is up front, and it's not like he is just an out and out striker for arsenal, but more this cam, cf, st hybrid

While Havertz is Arsenals best option as a striker this season, I still am not completely convinced whether he is a proper nine. I am not saying I do not think, simply I do not know. And for that reason Arsenal may want to opt for a striker like Gyokeres and than play Havertz as a CAM to allow him to go farther up the pitch than if he was a CM but not at the very summit.

Havertz will never be an exceptional player because he misses some key things, stamina, toughness, good ball control in tight spaces, abilities in 1vs1 situations and a threat in front of the goal. At the Euro Cup Havertz had the highest xG factor of ALL players in the tournament ( 5.11 ) and yet scored zero goals. The main problem with Havertz is, that he is decent in many areas but not really good in one in particular ! He doesn't have an ability that stands out.

When havertz joined arsenal i said that it was a good signing and havertz will be instrumental for arteta. But halfway through the season i was really starting to regret my decision. Thankfully that didnt happen. Now the only prediction i got wrong this season is that mount will live upto number 7 in man u. But i guess i got to take l on that

Appreciate the video but a lot of it is just wrong. He went into the 9 because of a Jesus injury, and it just worked out brilliantly And he doesn't play deep as the 8 either. He plays midfielder but not really, it's more of a second striker that's basically doing what he does at the 9, which is to make runs into half spaces and threaten the box. Except the plan was to have Partey and a Zinny/Timber occupy the midfield pivot and that 8 space. Either 8 or 9 he's playing a very similar role, but him as 8 only works if can either dominate the possession or have someone like a silky swag Partey that can progress a ball into attack through a press.
@Nabhuto4 ай бұрын
Well I did mention the reason why Kai Havertz is occupying the 9 position is because Jesus had injury issues, and because he isn’t lethal enough when he came back Kai has taken that place for himself (lowkey said that or inferred it at least haha). I’m not a tactico typa dude tho, definitely not for Arsenal cuz I don’t watch them week in and week out, but from my understanding everybody knows Havertz isn’t a TRUE 9, but he’s doing a good job at that when he’s instructed to play higher up compared to at LCM where he was at the beginning of the season (naturally make him sit deeper on the pitch)
