The System Is Made Of :
-A Simple Blueprint Actor Component That Saves The Info The Animation Blueprint Needs And Takes Care Of Replicating The Motion And Overlay Switching.
- An Animation Blueprint That Is Pre Setup And It Just Needs Filled Data Assets To Function.
- Animation Modifier To Create The curve That The Animation Blueprint Needs .
Animation Have To Be Root Motion To Extract The Data (Displacement And Rotation) .

Congratulations, this looks amazing! and the best thing to me is that you made your system to work with any given animations not like als that has the specific animations made for the system, this is a great achievement and i will defnatelly be buying it once it releases. Thank you!

looks very similar in use to my system except doesn't require knowledge of anim graph as it's already set out of the box :D impressive. :) really solid system. I never figured out distance matching so great job! I would love to see a kubold or mocap online - animset example setup ?

Hey ! Your work is amazing ! It's a procedural animation locomotion or it's more an animations blueprint with a lot of animations asset ? because as a 3d artist more than a programmer i prefer use more 3d animation and less code :)

It's an animation blueprint that uses different animations, i wouldn't say a lot of them minimum required are : 4 directional starts, 4 directional loops, 4 directional stops, jump animation, an idle and 4 turn in place.

@@SirKaizoku Amazing :o i made a really basic code like it but without distance matching really hard to make ! congrat ! is it possible to disable the head rotation when you orient the camera on the front of the character ? i like to see the face of my character and a lot of game block the camera on the back :)

Make sure you prevent "skiing." I also recommend that you display everything on the default dummy when you finish this for the unreal store.

How difficult would it be to set up the Paragon characters with this system ? I'm looking to have something a bit more polished than the default animBP that comes with them for my sound design demos and your plugin looks very affordable !

The examples provided are with paragon characters. It's simple.

Great job. I was interested if this could be nicely fitted with enemy animations but with this lomoction in mind, like zombies walking or sprinting then stopping, then attacking immediately when player is near.

running into things? foot IK is still WIP you can use any other IK solution in the meantime like the free plugin PowerIK.

If the animation have to be root motion you don´t need any kind of anim warping or what is this sphere for? ground trace ? Are the overleys also ik based? And i surch better will create soon if i have time an Bluprint based Distance matching system is this maybe what i´m looking for is ait c++?

Anims have to be root motion tonextract the root translation and rotation from them. It's not a root motion system, it's a distance matching based animation blueprint. The sphere are for distance matching. The system core functions are written in c++ for distance and rotation matching. But implementation is in Blueprints.

@@SirKaizokua Ahhh ok. Thank you first for the fast answere. I was lookin gfor special bluprint becouse. Many don´t try to under stand c stuff and i try with my system how far it goes without. So this system would be used if you for example want to scale up an root motion character. What if you tested don´t work out of the Box is it right ? becouse else i just don´t get it (the Extraction and than injecetion Part of the distnance curve)but that happens often. I´m just amateur ,;D

This doesn't use root motion to move the character. Just needs root motion data in the animation to extract the root movement and save it as animation curves. After that the root is locked and there's no need for root motion anymore . (At the end of the video it does show it's replicated)

As long as you know where to call the function to switch motion sets at runtime (when item equips for example) if you want to switch. Otherwise it's very simple you just have to add an actor component and change your animation blueprint. (If you have things other than movement in animation blueprint you just have to copy those things) it's not intrusive and intended to be easily integrated with anything.
