It's funny seeing Caroline here not wanting to hear this but if she had known later that she'd be having kids that belonged to the gemini coven and she'd be desperately looking for a cure to stop her twins having to merge she'd probably be wanting to hear more. It's just funny because in Legacies we literally have a scene of Jo telling Alaric to thank Caroline for raising her girls and saying how great of a job she did. It's so weird that they didn't realise how their lives would be bonded here.

I don't get how simply transfering the pregnancy and being cloaked saved Lizzie and Josie from the Gemini-massacre. Jo was killed by being stabbed in the stomach multiple times. How did the unborn babies survive that? Plus the girls are still members Gemini-coven. How did they survive Kai - who was the coven leader - killing himself?

@@susanbones3381 Kai had already died when he became a heretic. So his death didn't affect them. Also the curse on the Gemini coven must've started from someone, so maybe the cover just reset it when saving the twins?

@@shivanshchauhan712 Kai still DIED, to turn into a heretic. THAT'S the reason Liv, their father and every other Gemini died. Except for - because of crappy writing - Josie and Lizzie. Gemini die with their leader, rememer? So it's just bullshit that simply transfering the pregnancy saved them, since they ARE members of the coven. Plus with Jo being killed the way she was it makes even less sense for the babies to have survived. And if the coven had the power and knowledge to unlink themselves from their leader, don't you think they would have done it sooner? Why would they force their children to go through the merge ritual and risk one volatile leader wiping out the entire coven, when they could've easily prevented it?

After watching a ton of videos on Kai it really makes me wonder who is lying, and who is not. Jo said Kai isolated himself, while Kai said his father isolated him. So I think Kai was way more than a psycho and def had other mental issues. And on some level I think Jo cared for Kai even if he did what he did, also think Jo knew that kai didn't jut think off the bat that he was a freak, I think their father made Kai think he was a freak, and Kai felt like he needed to isolate himself causing him to go mad and causing him to blame his idiot of a father.

Yes, i also wondered who was lying but I do believe Kai was isolated by his father because his dad didn't want him as coven leader. Also, Jo said Kai found out about the twins so I think they isolated him while his dad tried to have twins. Not only that but he got out of isolation on holidays and stuff so. I feel like believing Jo makes more sense but when Kai was telling Caroline what happened, he had no reason to lie, he was planning on getting out of the room they put him in and he did. And when Kai and Jo were going to merge, he said he had been practicing his whole life, so I think they isolated him it may also just be a mistake the writers made. Maybe they accidently changed his story by that mistake? I mean it was never addressed who was telling the truth so.

Actually though. Why didnt they just kill him. On many occassions they could have done that. They haven't had trouble killing bad guys before so why hesitate now.
