old school hawking I know!! I didn’t get any good footage of him last season because my fields down in Southern California were so bad (thick cover, few slips, lots of distractions) and I had way less time to hunt while adapting to a new job. I miss all my old fields!! 😭 But I’ve been scouting new spots over the summer and will be moving my work schedule around to give me more hunting time, so I’m determined to make this upcoming season fun again. Hopefully I can start making videos again soon 🤞🏻

You said he was an imprint before. I was just curious if you went with the "no food association" style of raising or with the full food association with hand feeding?

Troy Moody full food association. I didn’t raise him though. He was actually raised with his sister by another Falconer, hacked out for a week or so, then transferred to me around penning time

old school hawking no 😑 He's still got a half inch left left to grow on his last tail feather. I swear watching it grow is like watching paint dry!!
