As I am sure others have mentioned, "Pretty Boy" was wrote by Jonghyun. He wrote it specifically for Taemin after having a conversation about the fact that Taemin was tired of everyone seeing him as just a "pretty boy." The song is all about how "yes I am a pretty boy, but I am so much more than that," etc. Early in his career when Taemin was growing up in SHINee he was often dressed up and made to look girly. People thought it was novel and cute to make him play a girl. So at this point in his career, as a 21 year old, he was trying to make a statement that, "I am a man now, and just because I may speak with a soft voice and the way I move isn't extremely masculine, doesn't mean I am not a man. As Jonghyun alluded to in the lyrics of the song, just because he isn't afraid to show emotion, doesn't mean he is less of a man. Taemin is questioning why people don't see him for who he really is. Jonghyun saw and felt the struggle that Taemin was going through and he wanted to give him a way to address the issue and to show the world the Taemin that he knew and loved. And because Taemin and Kai are best friends, and are practically twins in almost every way, including being soft spoken, with similar "pretty boy" looks, background and dancing styles, etc., he was the perfect person to partner with Taemin on this song. It's always been part of Taemin and Kai's dream to perform on stage together, so they really relish the few opportunities like this. This was the first time they had officially performed together, so it was extra special. And that is why both of them being included in SuperM is such an important milestone, because it finally gives them a chance to work together doing what they love to do the most, which is perform. Kai and Taemin weren't dressed alike in their "Pretty Boy" performance because it was decided that because this was Taemin's song and it was a comeback stage as part of his solo debut, that they wanted to make sure Taemin stood apart from everyone else. Kai was only featured on the song so he isn't supposed to stand out in this performance. All the attention should be on Taemin because it's his song. (Taemin is wearing the mesh shirt because he is on primetime network TV and he can't be "naked" on TV -- that would be inappropriate -- LOL. And Taemin has black fingernails because he performed his solo debut song "Danger" right before this. His style is supposed to be dangerous pretty boy as part of his solo debut theme.) But that's why Taemin and Kai are the top two BEST dancers in the industry. Their skill level is unmatched, and although they have slightly different dance styles, when they are together they feed off of each other and have a synergy about them. Taemin's and Kai's personalities are almost identical. That is one reason why they are best friends. When on stage they both can turn their fierce, sexy, sensual side up to 3,000 and they become the most powerful and magnificent performers that command the stage. But the minute they step off the stage they become quiet and shy and they blush when people compliment them for their looks or performance. Kai and Taemin trained together and went to school together after they joined SM. Taemin is about 6 months older than Kai, so Taemin entered the company first when he was around 11 years old in 2005 and then Kai became a trainee a short time later when he was around 11/12 years old in 2006. However, Taemin debuted almost exactly 4 years before Kai. So even though they are friends from the same birth generation, Taemin is considered Kai's senior. They really do mirror each other in more than just their dances. :D They are also the youngest/ almost youngest members in their respective groups and when they are together it's easy to see why they are so close. Taemin in particular is known for being sort of innocent and kind of naive and a little ditsy as only the maknae of a group can get away with -- he is 2 to 4 years younger than the rest of the SHINee members and he plays up being the baby when he is around them and they pretty much will do anything he asks. He knows how to be cute when he wants something, but he hates it when someone asks him to be cute. LOL. And when Kai and Taemin are together, it's often as if they share one brain. Which makes them even more cute, sweet and very endearing. Kai and Taemin are so much alike in looks, same age group, dancing skills, background, family dynamics, personality, etc. that they are often known as twins -- they even have some of the same mannerisms, personality traits and nicknames. (You really should see some of their pictures together when they were younger, you would be surprised how much they look alike.) Check out this clip of them on the variety show "Happy Together" to get to know them as a duo better. Magic hands referrers to the fact that they lose or break almost everything the touch -- i.e. things just magically disappear or become broken in their hands. It's even a joke that if it's important and/or breakable than don't give it to Taemin because he will either end up losing it or breaking it. LOL

Actually in this video we see Kai embracing Taemin and crying after SHINee won the Golden Disc Award in 2013. It was a beautiful moment. The whole SHINee was crying their hearts out and then EXO came running on stage and cried and celebrated with them. Kai cried a lot, but later claimed that only Taemin cried ;)

For some clarification during the "speed quiz" they were both joking around and saying the wrong answers for the giggles. During Kai's question time, noona = older sister (kai has 2 irl). Noona is a term used by a guy to refer to his older sister. So when he asked how many older sisters he had, Taemin said 13 (bc he's joking around). Hopefully that answered your question.

There's a ton of fancams from award shows where Kai and Taemin are always together, either forgetting about their groups or Taemin sitting/standing with EXO. And whenever Kai says something to Taemin, he always covers his mouth as he knows the fans with cameras are there and will try to read his lips later. You really should watch SuperM Midterm Exam with Kai for next reaction, the group are taking a test on how well they know each member. I think Kai's episode is the funniest. Or there's 'EXO vines but it's just Jongin', 4 parts but if you have to choose one, then I recommend pt3. Im actually kinda glad they keep those comments in because they did said that, people like to brush things under the rug to keep these perfect image of idols when in reality 95% of them have said stuff like that some product of time (where these kinds of jokes where seen as funny) and plain ignorance, hell i myself am a minority and have said incredible stupid shit. The "victim" didn't mention SA, the media that covered the issue didn't mention SA either and as far as we know there is no police report about him doing SA ( or anything illegal btw ). Well, it's still SM we're talking about, so the fact that he didn't deny anything is not surprising. That's how they deal with scandals of their artists - they're not doing anything and let people speculate. In the same group, NCT, Taeyong at the very beginning of their career was accused of bullying and scamming people in his school. SM only released his apology and he didn't really deny anything (just like Lucas). SM even made Taeyong apologize a few times, when these allegations were coming up again and again once in a while (every time NCT was having a comeback). Finally after a few YEARS it was proven to be false accusations all along (by the accusers themselves). SM didn't do anything to help their artist for all these years, didn't allow him to clear his name. He was only able to say "sorry".

While other SM artists usually have to do the work themselves (speaking up, suing, etc.), right now SM seems to be focusing on nct a lot, so not clearing this up is strange. Other idols who were innocent never apologized for their "wrongdoings", just for making fans worry/etc. (and then sm released statements about taking legal actions against people who spread rumors). It's a weird choice because his apology created more problems and confusion (so not good for both sm and lucas/nct). I am not saying every accusation is true, BUT maybe it's more complicated than just "sm is evil".
