I like Kaia and I know she's a hard working model, but it's quite frustrating to watch her try and explain that her status in the modelling industry is something that happened organically. I understand it's frustrating to have your work invalidated because of who your parents are, but we can't sit here with a straight face and pretend her mother's name didn't skyrocket her to superstardom. She is the subject of the past like 7 Vogue videos, and was headlining Alexander Wang shows at the age of 17. Other young models have to bunk in modelling houses in NYC with like 15 other girls, while Kaia was living in her famous parents' luxury apartment. I think she'd have a much easier time if she would be honest about those privileges, because it comes across quite out of touch.

And maybe it's a complex I have but when the daughter of a very successful dad says she was "working as a model since she was 14"and then goes onto day she never spent her OWN money it sounds like she's saying she spent her families money.
