Exfoliating my scalp. I never thought to use sea salt... but I have a whole container unused just sitting on a shelfand deep conditioning more. Overall ... I need to get my life together cuz I have an endless supply of castor oil that I get from Jamaica...the island... that I just stopped using for some odd reason.

Kaice Alea you have a lot of videos talking about lots of shampoos, conditioners and ways to keep your hair moisturize. I am a African American male and I need your help. I keep my hair braided most of the time because of my job, so when I find the time I really want to Moisture it. I was watching dr.oz today’s he talked about Whole Blend Olive Oil From Walmart. I Want To Try It. After I try it what other brands should I use in my hair Please Please Reply & Help Me!!

I agree with you on co-washing . I do own a co-wash conditioner by pantene , but I only use that if I have an old style that has gel or any other product I don't in my hair for a completely different style like going from a wash-n-go to a twistout or flexi-rod set . - Also , what REALLY determines whether I co-wash or shampoo depends on the level of dandruff / product buildup in my hair . If my hair is really dandruffy , I know it's time to shampoo thoroughly . If it looks like it can make it about another week , then I just co-wash to avoid stripping my hair of its natural oils .

I use to swear by Organix no- sulfate shampoos because I read regular shampoos with sulfates dry your hair out. One year late after MAJOR breakage I read you need a clarifying shampoo once a month to effectively get rid of build up. I wish I had known this before I started. Hearing the same thing on this video just endorses what I know. Great video thanks for taking the time to post it.

I been hearing about this castor oil and I am going to buy this real soon. I do want to add I don't use heat on my hair. I wash and let my hair air dry. So I have no problem about using no heat. I don't own a drier and I don't want any. So far I am probably one of the first that don't.

Great video thanks so much for all that helpful information! I don't ever put heat on my hair, I try to massage my scalp with oil twice a week, I make sure to use the sealant on my hands most of the time either use raw African Shea butter or Jamaican black castor oil, I also use the Jamaican black castor oil shampoo and I only shampoo once A week and I couldn't wash one day a week and I deep condition on the day I shampoo. My hair is grown quite a bit over the last 3-4 years but I want to grow it more so I will be working on it and continuing to take care of my hair😄

I know you said layer the products, but doesn't that weigh down the hair with all that product? I am learning how to do my natural hair and before, I never kept my scalp oiled. Right now my hair is a little heavy due to the leave-in...perhaps too much was put on. I'm experimenting right now, so I'll keep trying. Thx for the great video!
