All I’m trying to say is this: If you’re part of this younger generation out here thinking this lifestyle is cool, it’s really not. If she didn’t like my friend group she have me cut them off and she always ended up being right in the end as they became trouble makers and eventually expelled from school. My mom would go as far as pulling us from a school if it was bad or she’d lie about where we lived just to get us in a good school. She did not play about grades and made sure we had productive hobbies to keep us busy. All of my friends were honor roll students and since you are who you hang around I was one too and my brother. She did not encourage gang bang rap around us and it’s the small things that make a difference. The games, the music, the tv shows and movies, especially in early development. Currently have a six year old brother that was way too exposed to rap by his dad that he started throwing up gang signs, my mom corrected that behavior quick!
