The game was fun to watch in the VOD, the fact that chat gaslit itself and Kaif into the lie nobody knew was a lie was hilarious. Basically they tried to insert a lore, that they believed was true, and so it spread like a virus until everyone thought it's true. 3:45 - 4:02 No, they're not Chaos Insurgency as Rob stated. They are The Foundation as Kaif stated. Yes, the SCP is in fact that thing. Yes, the Foundation did turn against humanity. No, you are not the "anti-foundation alliance", or Global Occult Coalition (named in "lore"). You are UIU (Unusual Incidents Unit) agents - basically underfunded FBI's division that was created to respond quickly to anomalies. Since they are underpaid, they don't perform their job very well and are usually portrayed as weak, goofy and clumsy. Yes, you are fighting the SCP Foundation. I managed to find a list of all the SCPs listed in this game: SCP-098, otherwise known as Surgeon Crabs. This is a species of crustacean, which is distinguished by its high adaptability to the environment and sharp, pointed legs. SCP-1262, also known as Spitter. It is a hostile anomaly of plant origin. SCP-173-B, also known as The Sculpture. It is an alternate version (actually a clone) of SCP-173, the creature that gave rise to the entire universe. Therefore, it behaves like the original and will only move when no one is looking at it. SCP-7528, also referred to as The Projection. It is a dangerous adversary residing in the Education Center. It manifests itself as visual disturbances appearing on the screen. (I think also there’s a hint of it being a Pattern Screamer as well or something like it???) Pseudo-accurate game lore: SCP foundation tries to restart humanity because pain is a disease they want to cure. They start killing everyone so they can start again, meanwhile SCP 5000 is trying to stop them The people in this game are UIU, the FBI’s branch of anomalies. They are massively underfunded and usually neutral to the foundation, like the GOC (The UN’s analogous branch, which focuses on terminating SCPs) but can often work with them or come into clashes with them. When the foundation tried to restart humanity, the GOC, UIU and many other groups (idk which ones) banded together to try and beat them.

Your lore was somewhat right. SCP 5k concerns the foundation finding the suit aptly named SCP 5k that housed the dead body of an employee that was still alive in another SCP site. The suit while heavily damaged and its anomalous properties neutralized still housed the data this doppleganger saved into it, like journals. The journals detailed that the Foundation one day just started killing everyone, everyone that was in the foundation itself and the rest of humanity. The reason was because one of their projects led them to discovering a way to remove pain and it led to an entity being found. That entity described pain as a parasite which led to those "cured" including the 05 council to decide to eradicate humanity to destroy the parasite. The doppleganger was lucky enough to have slipped into SCP 5k's room and the suit bonded to him, saving his life when the Foundation MTF squads came and cleaned his site out. He then took a briefcase containing a memetic anomoly to SCP 579 which reset the entire world to before the "cure" was found, saving humanity.

This was an actual good game from what i've seen so far. has good graphics, team killing, lots of memes, scary aspects and a story (?) Really like how the game plays sorta, kind of a cod aspect while still having objectives so you have something to shoot Game has some cool mechanic of the Anti-grief, the body parts being lost (just not executed well) Overall. Decent game, didn't really feel like I was watching an "SCP" video. It was a decent game but I would've liked to see more anomalies, the memes were plentiful though

Btw the reason y’all crashed is cause there’s a known bug in the area between the entertainment center and servers which causes everyone but the host to crash Y’all also failed at the end cause the elevator has a bug as well Your “supposed” to hit a button in a control room to activate the lift. But the lift will still go up if you stand in it snd don’t hit the button. However the button is required as a “trigger” if you press it you will succeed the mission, if you don’t you fail cause the timer runs out on the nuke and the game thinks your still in the facility

The only notible difference this game makes is the "AFA" which are an entirely new thing introduced solely for this game and isn't canonical to the actual SCP Universe. Some people might say that it's the GOC (Global Occult Coalition) because it would make sense that the GOC of all people would send a fireteam to infiltration the base since they're "THE" rival faction to the SCP Foundation (not necessarily enemies but not allies either - the GOC are basically an overfunded NATO army cause the UN weren't happy with the SCP Foundation being largely private and secretive lol).

Slight correction at 4:00, that was the emblem of the global occult coalition headed by the UN, in SCP 5K you play as the unusual incidents unit which is a part of the FBI. There are some occasions where the global Coalition does work alongside the SCP Foundation but it's not very common, it is more common for the uiu to work alongside the SCP Foundation

The uniform patch literally states "Federal Bureau of Invenstigation - Unusual Incidents Unit". The "we are the GOC" in the objective at the reactor isn't patched yet since the player models were still GOC before being changed to FBI UIU.

The story behind SCP-5000 ties directly to 2 different SCP's, 2718 & SCP-5000-Delta. The story is that there's a being in the collective subconscious of every human being (5000-Delta) that's the direct cause of humans feeling pain, as well as the direct cause of SCP-2718 (what happens after you die, basically that you're conscious and feel everything that happens to your body even while dead). The being feeds on humanity's pain and suffering, so causes those things in order to make itself suffer. Upon this discovery, the SCP Foundation finds a "cure" that only works on certain individuals. In order to stop this being completely to let the dead rest, they decide to kill everyone who the cure does not work on, utilizing help from the SCP's like 682, who's said to have always been able to hear/detect this being and that the being is the reason he hates humanity. The suit itself (SCP-5000) is a rogue foundation member who's under the direct influence of SCP-5000-Delta, and goes back in time in order to stop the SCP Foundation from curing humanity of feeling pain, so that 5000-Delta can continue to make humanity suffer

In reality though, the SCP is said to be the hard truth that you're conscious within your body after death (at least, according to the full lore)
