SAME FOR EVONY. I played the original evony called Civony and played up through the beginning of evony age 2. Those ads just arent the game. They killed the game through monitized progression and a lack of care for bots (since the botters were the whales)

For Context in summoners war, those Devilmons are the equivalent of pulling a 5 star monster of the exact monster and element and essentially the only way to get skill ups for 5 stars unless you pay money for pulls or hard farm events, after multiple years of playing, i have only pulled four (4) 5 stars naturally that weren't guaranteed gifts or event quests, So, yeah, good game, pretty fun, but that merced me to see the second most common t3 get four skill ups

@@LauLessPariah Best tip for those with Bad luck is to build Up a Fire Inigami and awaken them into Roarq for the team up skill, if you then mega awaken them you get three teamates attacking, push Violent build for extra turns and you can wipe put basic content easy, the Lapis knight is an excellent teamate for Roarq as well, reduce attack bar, extra turns, a buffer or a healer, and you'll get going good

To be fair, regardless of when Evony cane out, it's basically always the copycat. They'll see what game style is trending well, then incorporate a really lite version of it into their game (which is just a typical city builder), but they'll make all their new advertisements make it look like the whole game is the flavour of the month minigame instead. It was most egregious a few years ago with the pull-the-pins puzzle games. There's like one a day in Evony but that's what all their advetising was.

Wind Peguin aka Mav has been a core ToA unit for a long time (2016-2020). I think most old players have him build. Even now as a new player you wouldnt be wrong to try to use him.

@fatealter6630 Right. Most 3 stars are buildable. And some 2 stars are given sometimes they have a very strong build. Like there was a few units I remember being heavily slept on when I was playing. Some wind knight that was lvl 2 unlocked a decent max HP as damage attack or something like that when leveled up... I don't remember the details of that one. But one I still stand by is that the light bird Teon or something could be built to be better than Bella the wolf. If you built it fast it had potential to create an infinite thanks to how a the rune set to gain an extra turn interacted with his second ability to 1 turn cooldown gain another turn. Then his AOE heal removed debuffs and healed everyone by like 25%. He wasn't hitting absurd, but he wasn't to be used for that. He's a multiple turn generator. I remember building him to get 3-4 turns of him before any other unit did. Though, that requires you to have a very fast/good set of runes too... Which nobody feels like giving the bird viewed as a worse Bella.

@@williamfalls A lot off 2 stars with 2nd awakening are really good. Teon I havent seen much used outside Lushen offenses or Teshar teams in GBAH. Teon sadly is to slow 95 base speed isnt going to cut it anymore. Honestly if you dont have +220 spd with that base speed expect to not go first. If you want to see infinite turns go against an Oliver in RTA or Theo/Perna in GW (because those 2 dont understand 22%). Bella also isnt really used anymore, PvE these days is mostly nuking.

Penguin knight dupes are really easy to pull since its only a 3 star, so you dont want to waste devilmons on those, instead you save those for 5 stars usually

I quit summoners war last year, but 7:37 hurt my mental soul so much. As a free to play player you get one per week and an additional every month and you usually want to keep them for the rare and valuable 5 star monsters. 3 Star monsters can be upgraded with the same kind of monster, so using devil mons was a complete waste. Also rainbow mons are being used to upgrade the ascension of a monster requiring more stars and more monsters per ascension. 5 5 star Rainbow mon for example make a 6 star Monster ascension.

as soon as you mentioned games workshop and i saw that warhammer, i knew it was gonna go horrible for your bank account, i don't buy minis and only have a handful of games, but just looking at how much DLC there is for the total war warhammer games as well as just those prices has me fully aware that warhammer is a very pricey hobby 39:10: "that's a bigass claw mate, he looks like he came from the orks" i mean, as it says in the description, that Klaw of his is from a Ork Warboss he killed after it tore his arm off with that same Klaw, also, from what i recall of his lore, he's one of the few if not *the* human the Orks respect the most, to the point where if he was captured by them again they'd let him go, because fighting him is awesome fun for them, the Orks also happened to have seen him as close enough to a Ork that the Klaw works properly for him... although some relatively recent additions to 40k lore (not fully up-to-date so might be outdated here) suggest Angron, basically a Demon overlord, killed Yarrick, and so there's a mass of Orks wanting to cave in his skull

I have all three Total War Warhammer games, I got them for a decent discount and the amount of content is massive. I don't have all DLCs though, because I'm not yet finished playing the modded campaigns with 1600h. Also since it's Total War, mods are a huge deal. Basically every aspect has been modded so far, so new factions for free, new map, new technologies, new units and tons of QoL

Something interesting to note about a lot of these games like Evony. The core content of the game is and has always been that junk city building timer based gameplay. However, Google recently introduced a policy where misleading ads can get your game removed from the store. The portion of gameplay where you run and pick up guns is something that was only added in so that the ad cannot be flagged as misleading, but in most cases these portions of gameplay are only present for the first hour or so after which it disappears without a trace.

That is either a lie made by your or google. Google has 0 add quality control. In other words adds can be whatever as long as they are not overly sexual etc.. Even if you look at google play store most of the advertised things are those fake games. I mean.. Don't give google a brake. They dont deserve it. Evil corp all I can say
