@@KidsInBasementXD Without cheats you'd be right, with them even if you can't directly give yourself more than 4 perks (which just to be clear you can) there is nothing stopping you from just giving yourself the effects of said perks regardless of the perk limit hell you can see the cheater doing it in the video by seeing all of the hooks, pallets, windows, and survivors at all time. And if you aren't a moron who streams yourself using said cheats, it's really hard to tell if someone just knows maps well/has good ears or who is cheating by abusing perma aura reading or fov hacks.

Seeing interactables and players, fov. wiggle impuls etc is just modifiers that dbd uses, before ue5 update u could just stick those modifiers to addons or perks, that allowed to use some things like inf aura in basekit or for example see blink location without using nutse addont that allowed that. Having multiple perks is patched like 2 years ago by bhvr, same with instant generators. People keep yapping about instant generators popping but theres no such cheese that allows that. Every single progress bar is server sided except wesker's progress bars

To a server with other cheaters instead of telling them they are banned….

Way to fix the majority of the problem (not sure if it is possible though), option not to play with Epic Games Accounts since the majority of the cheaters are on Epic due to the free period of the game on Epic a few years ago, people were literally botting accounts to sell with the game on it yes there would likely still be some cheaters from steam or even console (I have seen cheaters on console in other games before) but the majority very much come from Epic due to the free period

The perk that blocks the exit gates is called "no way out", it blocks the exit gate for 12 seconds, +12 seconds per time you hook a unique survivor up to a max of 60 seconds combined. very fun with "Remember Me" which slows exit gate opening for every time you hit the obsession to a max of 4 times. + the perk "Terminus" is evil. + "No one escapes death" that gives you insta-downs for the whole endgame is prime time for redemption.

I love this build as Singularity, the survivors think they won until they all see that they’re broken and the exit gates are blocked. I find terminus to be better than noed as it can’t be cleansed. Problem with DbD cheater on PC is that the game was free on Epic once and people used bots to create hundreds or thousand of accounts. They can get banned each day and just return on another account the next day and never run out. If only half of that dedication would be used to become better at the game.

Encountered this guy in the PTB where he wasn’t actively using cheats but he hard camped and tunneled my bf out of the match. At the end, learned he was streaming, and while his steam account said “I don’t cheat on this account” the admission was enough for me to report him. So I’m very glad to learn that he is getting banned actively at the very least, he had a very nasty attitude.

Banned accounts don't mean anything in DBD, as the free week they had on Epic Games gave hackers thousands of free accounts they can use cheats on for EACH hacker. Not only that, but if they go through Steam then they can get keys for 1-3 bucks. Even if he gets banned multiple times he's probably got at minimum a dozen accounts after these ones if he didn't go through Epic Games, and if he did, as I said, he's got thousands.

15:53 - 16:02 I have been in those situations. One time a cheater spammed the same pallet until all the gens got down. Then would fly into the sky to avoid getting hooked (I was playing as Myers). Last month (playing as Dracula) had a Survivor try to subtly cheat but then went full out in the open. The cheater tried to be cheeky and teleport as the End Game Collapse ended, but still got taken by the entity despite being outside the map XD.

What i absolutely love seeing, is when a Good/Clever player manages to outsmart a Cheater and score a Win. Like a video of MGS5 where a cheater was invading someone's base, they were completely immortal and one tapped everything and everyone and kidnapped the whole base basically. So what the Player did was track him down, use the Rocket Arm Punch, knocked him TF out (cause apparently the cheater did not take Knockout into account?) picked him up and threw him over the rails and into the sea, failing his run, it was glorious.

Funnily enough, your DC penalty starts out at literally 15 seconds at first, then goes to 5 minutes, then 15 minutes, THEN 30 minutes. Huge issue with this is discovering those cheaters. Someone would still have to find those channels and report them. It changes nothing unless you have a team actively searching through streams and videos looking for them. At that point it's just easier and more affordable to write an algorithm to do it for you, hence why anti-cheat software was developed. If you are specifically talking about repeat offenders than thats exactly what kaif was talking about in his video with hardware bans. In order for someone to keep playing after a hardware ban they would need to buy a new pc basically. So there is no need for human intervention unless the anti-cheat is done poorly.

I used to use hacks in Gunz The International and IJJI as well, but mainly for one reason..... to bypass the Name Filter so that I can use Special Characters and have a longer name, cause the game had commands for coloring your text like Runescape allowing for colorful names and auto coloring chat messages you sent. Easy Anti-cheat is called Easy for two reasons: It's easy to set up for your game, meaning little to no hassle to have an anti-cheat for the bare minimum. It's easy to get around because it's below the bare minimum for anti-cheat software. The reasons companies pick it up: Free. It costs them 0 dollars, and that fact can't be changed for 3 years upon 'official release' of the game; there is an immunity time if it is in early access period or other demo state. It offers analytic data to track player behaviors. This doesn't always have to be things about cheating-- it also includes simple data like how many matches are played, win conditions, objectives done, player deaths, and so on. (EAC is where the DBD developers get their data about matches and it primarily is the resource they use to make decisions to adjust balance.) It lets them ban and otherwise punish players on the fly, if they so choose, with a built in admin panel.

Because how can a survivor bring iron maiden 13:50, or travel at the speed of light without the server noticing that somethings up. A very small haste increase can go a very long way. 15:05 Dbd went free on egs for a bit a while back. During that time many people created bots to create as many accounts as possible to redeem it, so accounts for dbd are practically free sadly. Also if they have the globe at the endgame screen, and talk in chat they're playing on egs. Because behavior. Seeing as how cheaters can bring iron maiden as a survivor. They probably have a way to increase their luck to a billion so the unhook is certain. This is actually somewhat achievable in base game with the correct build and right offerings, you can get I think a 98% chance of unhooking. If you want to mess with Stan as I think he's the only one of you that fully plays dbd and will understand what is happening. Have everyone to run a luck build. It's misery to go against.

speed hacking in DBD functions by turning up personal game speed, not your personal movement speed through console commands (obviously they just have a button that does this for them and bypasses the console). it's a dev command for the devs to test things with, and so anti cheat doesn't function, same with teleportation, auto gen completion, etc. Everything is a dev command bypassed by their cheat software. You can look up old versions of DBD and actually play around with the dev console and do many of the things you see hackers do, it's wild.

I was able to kill a cheater in chaos shuffle using blood Warden. Was playing hag and the cheater was so bad he got downed by me like 4 times despite being able to teleport like 15 meters in any direction he was running. Apparently blood warden just turns off the escape mechanic of exit gates so even when he teleported through the gates repeatedly he still died to the EGC timer lol.

i played against this guy last month when i was just trying to adept yui. first time i went against a killer so blatantly hacking, i wasn't even mad just very confused. almost as soon as the match started knives were being thrown downing each survivor who were on different parts of the map then he knew where we all were. was on rpd map so no way he would have seen me upstairs near the bathroom gen from downstairs in main. i reported him right after & after a week logged in with an update of him being banned

I heard in (I think) China that cheating and pay to win are not only accepted but encouraged. The philosophy is that: 1) cheats are treated as something that you have full access to just the same as any other mechanic so ignoring them is the same as doing a challenge run, 2) if you and your opponent are heading to a knife fight and both of you have access to guns then naturally you’ve both already agreed this is now a gun fight, 3) if you’ve only got a limit amount of time to play then natural you shouldn’t spend it struggling and should cheat so that you can keep winning or see more of the game, and 4) if your limited time is because of your job then it’s great that the time spent grinding for money in real life can replace the time you would have spent grinding for high end equipment if you were jobless.

Happens in Korea a lot too, although significantly less in Japan. China and Korea have a very cutthroat culture that insists you win by whatever means necessary. Honor is seen as a sucker's game - the victory is all that matters, no matter how you got it. Russia has this problem a lot too, lots of Russian cheaters in games. Japan has a cultural history of honor stemming from the days of the Samurai - you should win, but you have to do it "the right way" or it doesn't count, and in fact a dishonorable victory is even worse than just losing in an honorable way. China, Korea, Russia, they don't have that cultural history - you win, or you're dead. That's how it was for them in real life, that's how they play games.

9:30 cheaters do not, in fact, have to go through with repairing generators; they can literally pop and unpop them. Also, they dont have to worry about buying new accounts, epic games had a free giveaway for dbd, so people set up bots to get it en masse. So they have effectively infinite accounts. There's even a community of no life cheaters that are queue sniping streamers to trap them in games for the 1 hour hard time limit.

A DBD streamer couldn't pay his rent because they kept holding him hostage and his audience is there for just DBD so they left if he played anything else and they were already leaving if he stayed in the match because standing still for an hour until the match automatically closes only to do the exact same thing next match is really boring.

14:20 the problem with these bans is that its not anti cheat, its done by a bhrv employee who basically just watches the stream, sees theyre cheating and bans them, the issue though is that cheaters abuse this fact and frame other innocent streamers by showing their in game name and gameplay and getting them banned instead with no way to undo it because bhvr doesnt listen because that would mean theyre admitting to a mistake, a known cheat called void todos did this to someone and im not sure if theyre still banned or not

No one can rejoin a game if the game crashes, freezes, ect. As soon as his game crashed the survivors alive in the match are treated as if they have escaped. Survivors also can not rejoin a match even if you are playing with other people.

speed is related to a dev console command, relative postition changes and out of bounding can and have happened thousands of times in regular games without cheaters. most recent example i can think of is that there was a patch recently that had certain walls just not spawn in and you could walk outside the map, and if you fall off the edge you get teleported back in. Teleport hacks use that same code (as well as another dev command) and out of bounding happens all the time naturally.

So, anti cheat is a lot harder than you’d think due to how networking works. I’m going to oversimplify here but the premise still remains true. People don’t have perfect internet. If you are running and your internet drops a substantial amount of packets in a “hickup” the game is going to try and guess where you are going to end up so you keep running on the server. Then when your internet picks back up again the server corrects for deviation by moving you to the new location. (Again oversimplified) Ever teleported somewhere after having some internet troubles? That’s why. Imagine a situation where the killer is running full speed and he stops for whatever reason. The server shows him running at you but once it catches up, you watch him teleport away like nurse. According to the game the killer just moved like 40 meters in a tenth of a second. If we just checked for speed to position changes we would ban this player. This player who did not intentionally cheat in any way banned because of poor internet. That’s not a world we want to live in. What anti cheat does is use contextual clues to determine when things are statistically so unlikely or they discover a hard modification of game files or game logic that a regular player CANNOT do. If someone is conveniently lagging every 3 seconds and happens to always trigger a large correction by the server and has no problems getting hits on survivors? You should probably kick for that. Discover another program reading the ram of your game? Regular players DO NOT run programs that do this. Refuse to launch the game, or kick from game. Something MODIFIES the ram of the game? This is impossible unless you intended to do this. Ban the player. Then you take how many of these “kick” events happen, and if too many happen in too short of a time span you also issue a ban. You want to make it as hard as possible for an innocent player to get falsely banned. It’s better to let a thousand cheaters free than ban an innocent player.

The reason these cheaters have so many accounts is because DBD was free on Epic Games for one weekend and cheaters immediately set up bots to rapidly make a bunch of alt accounts to get as many free copies of the game as possible which is why the cheater problem in DBD is so rampant even with how fast cheaters can be caught because they just have a never-ending supply of free copies.

Btw the ESP/walls and auras are through the entities, a hook is an entity so is a pallet so is the killer etc, its how wallhacks work in any game, you find the id of said entity by unpacking game files or some shit like that, so its not really dbds fault in terms of their aura system, cheat devs just use it because its looks clean. You could still put boxes, names or chams whether or not the game has auras for those things.
