You know it seems so simple, Prop Hunt and Dead by Daylight, but when put together (excluding some technical matters) it works really well to create something that can be considered genuinely new. I wish more games could do this.

Asymmetric co-op isn't that new, really. Biggest issue with this genre is balancing the two sides, which most games fall short at + the niche nature of it makes failure that much more serious.

The design doesnt have to be crazy, just has to be off putting enough that you would question it irl. If you saw a guy walking around in a hockey mask irl youd think he is a criminal. There is a phenomenon called uncanny valley (not an actual valley) where if something appears human, but is not quite human, such as dolls, mannequins, chimps, etc. your mind just assumes it is a threat trying to mimic you

Like if it's more than half done and the killer goes to break it and nobody gets to it in a minute or so it will essentially be reset?
