Hi! Thanks for your tutorials, they're super helpful. I've been asking you questions on my other account, but I usually upload videos on this one. My question this time is, how do you do the glowing eyes and timer on Ultraman? Do you do it frame by frame or do you track the position somehow?

Depending on the type of movement involved with making certain parts glow, I'll either do it frame-by-frame or do a tiny bit of tracking. If a head is shifting around tons or something, frame-by-frame will do a better job than motion tracking. I rarely end up tracking though, even for shots like this, just because I enjoy the full control over the masks by going frame-by-frame.

It's done with a mask and a glow effect. It's just about playing around with different effects and methods, there's really no single way to go about it.

Hello. I want to ask how can I make Ultraman's eyes glow like yours? I never seem to get the right settings to make it glow so decently like yours.

Generally just playing around with the threshold and radius of the glow, lots of testing and messing with the effect. I've basically got my eye glows to a science now, but what sometimes can help is keeping the first glow effect rather tight, and then add a second one that spreads the glow out more.

Is VFX a monthly paid for device or could you just buy it once and always use it? I would really like to make my own Godzilla movies one day which is why I am asking. :)

Adobe products are indeed monthly payments (unless your school offers it for free like mine), but if you're just thinking about getting into it I'd recommend starting simpler and cheaper, something like Sony Vegas which is a one time $60 or so payment that served me well for a few years!
