Loved seeing Sentinel Rock again! It’s my favourite place in nz, as I lived in Katikati for some time and went there a few times. I will RUN up there when it’s finally possible again to come back and just sit there and be just so grateful being back in nz and not making the mistake of leaving again 🥲 Keep going with the videos! Agree that it’s one of the best sections of track. There’s a few really cool areas just off the track around there too. Just be wary of the big patches of tree-nettle! (As a side note, I believe it’s pronounced ‘Mo-too-ta-pe-re’ hut)

Please just ensure you allow plenty of daylight hours and ensure you have the day's hiking gear I recommended. Route-finding and good fitness are required if doing the Motutapere track and it transpires that I’m not meant to show you this!
