We are basically from Punjab mostly not very educated and on lower rank of working force in Canada , America, UK, Australia. We worked hard and possibly made enough money and living in good conditions in life. Mr. Bassi keeps claiming like a politician many things e.g. I know cops in Punjab etc., etc., he will report to RCMP, he will file a FIR in India, which might impress ordinary/ simple, naive Punjabis, but it is not right, it might give him high TRP rating on the TV, but it is wrong. Yes, I am in favour of warning the wrong doers and criminals, which he must do. His show is popular amongst Punjabis, and helps his TV rating. I notice him being rude to callers, asks them or forces them to tell of their personal information which is not needed many times, he cuts them off, do not listen to their calls especially if they point out something against dictator Mr. Bassi, he threatens people about knowing police officers in Punjab and filing cases in Canada. Our Punjabi brothrens are simple and indebted to his overrated TRP show. however I do appreciate if he has done any help to people and is nice to people. My main point about writing this is to highlight wrongdoing by Mr. Bassi and Mr. Sidhu, sometimes they ask questions as they think, and not as per the present situations and happenings. I do not think that they are authority and even some of the callers are authority to decide what is right or wrong in each individual case on the BBC Toronto radio show. Mr. Bassi is really dramabaaz most times, which he can be as it is his show. He should be respectful to the people involved in the cases, audiences and callers and should not cut them off before they complete their calls, let the opinions be described and intelligent callers give their ideas and opinions, Mr Bassi is here many years and is well settled, it was an easy and cheap life in Canada 12 years back, it is not that easy in the present times, so he must realise that. Life is difficult for some people and is not as easy as it is for Mr. Bassi and Sidhu, Students have and new comers have tough time, sometimes they resort to selfish means, we should support these students etc., and Punjabis first, and not condemn them. I know many Punjabis praise you and make you popular. but don't be a d.ck and rude, rough to people and try to be a nice civilised person.
